摘要: An automation system for train maintenance that performs operations related to train maintenance without human intervention is provided. The automation system for train maintenance comprises a refuse reservoir (10), a sewage tank (20), a water tank (30), and expanders (41, 42, 51, 61). In this automation system, when a railway vehicle is parked, the expanders (41, 42, 51, 61) are expanded to lift connectors (45, 54, 64) toward the railway vehicle for connection to the refuse reservoir (10), sewage tank (20), and water tank (30). In this automation system, discharge of refuse, removal of sewage, and feeding of water are automatically performed. Upon completion of these operations, the expanders (41, 42, 51, 61) are contracted so that the connectors (44, 45, 54, 55, 64, 65) are stored in waiting locations (48, 58). Therefore, use of this automation system for train maintenance allows automatic train maintenance without human intervention.

摘要: An apparatus for controlling an orientation of a suspender hung from an overhead crane by four ropes, with the apparatus being adapted to control two orientations such as lateral and longitudinal inclinations of the suspender. A frame is adapted to be moved by a first screw mechanism, with second and third screw mechanisms being mounted on the frame. The second and third screw mechanisms have second and third threaded shafts which are movable relative to the frame in a direction parallel to a direction of movement of the frame and in opposite directions to each other. The four ropes for suspending the suspender are attached to appropriate ends of the second and third threaded shafts so that the apparatus can simultaneously control two orientations of the suspender. After a carrying out of an orientation control, the reactions applied to the apparatus can be borne by the self-locking action of the screw threads of the screw mechanisms.

摘要: A device for stopping the swinging movement of a load hung by a crane. The crane includes a trolley mounted on an overhead girder of the crane with the trolley being capable of traveling back and forth on the overhead girder. A beam is pivotally supported by the trolley with two sets of sheaves mounted on the beam for displacement relative to each other. Ropes are trained over the two sets of sheaves. A suspension member is provided for suspending the load to be moved by the crane with the suspension member being connected to the lower ends of the ropes. Dampers are mounted between the trolley and the beam. The energy of the swinging movement of the load is converted, through the sheaves to the energy of the oscillating movement of the beam which is transmitted to the dampers, so that the energy causing the load to move in swinging motion can be absorbed by the dampers with a high degree of efficiency and the swinging movement of the load can be quickly stopped.

摘要: There is provided a sound field adjusting method that can provide an acoustic improvement effect tailored to the characteristics of various acoustic rooms, with small differences in reflection properties between sound receiving points. The diameters of a plurality of columnar reflectors are calculated so as to diffuse sound waves of respective different frequency ranges. An arrangement condition is calculated so that the columnar reflectors having the calculated diameters form a plurality of reflecting surfaces that reflect the sound waves of different frequency ranges in random reflection directions, with random reflection time delays, or in random phases. The plurality of columnar reflectors having respective different diameters are then arranged under the arrangement condition. The arrangement condition is calculated to form a reflecting surface for a sound wave of a higher frequency range near a sound source, and form a reflecting surface for a sound wave of a lower frequency range far from the sound source. A sound absorbing structure by using the internal space of the arranged columnar reflectors provides effective countermeasures against low-range standing waves.

摘要: A flow meter of Coriolis type includes a supporting base that supports a pair of fluid pipes in a manner capable of being vibrated, and a frame fixed to the supporting base. The frame is integrally formed with a mounting portion disposed between the fluid pipes and having a thickness that does not interfere with the fluid pipes, a reinforcing portion disposed at the outer circumference of the mounting portion and enhancing the rigidity of the mounting portion, and a fixing portion for being fixed to the supporting base. The reinforcing portion has an outer wall portion that protrudes at least to one side of the thickness direction of the mounting portion, and substantially continuously surrounds the outer circumference of the fluid pipes. Penetrating portions for disposing the coils corresponding to respective magnetic substances mounted on the fluid pipe are formed in the mounting portion.
