    摘要: A toilet housing and waste collection and treatment system purify wastewater to a satisfactory level. When solid wastes are conveyed from individual toilets (31)-(33) into an active circulation chamber (16) in a toilet housing (10), the solid wastes are subjected to air exposure treatments in the active circulation chamber (16). The wastewater exposed to air in the active circulation chamber (16) is then purified through a three-phase flowing structure in first and second active water chambers (51) and (52), with the three-phase flowing structure including water, air, and carrier particles containing aerobic microorganisms. The wastewater so treated flows into first and second sediment separation chambers (53) and (54) where solid wastes are settled down and separated from the wastewater. The treated water is then supplied to a water reservoir (56) which in turns supplies the water to the respective toilets (31)-(33). Sediment settled at the bottom of the respective sediment separation chambers is fed and stored in a sediment storage chamber (55).

    摘要: According to one embodiment, an infrared imaging device includes a substrate, a detecting section, an interconnection, a contact plug and a support beam. The detecting section is provided above the substrate and includes an infrared absorbing section and a thermoelectric converting section. The interconnection is provided on an interconnection region of the substrate and is configured to read the electrical signal. The contact plug is extends from the interconnection toward a connecting layer provided in the interconnection region. The contact plug is electrically connected to the interconnection and the connecting layer. The support beam includes a support beam interconnection and supports the detecting section above the substrate. The support beam interconnection transmits the electrical signal from the thermoelectric converting section to the interconnection.

    摘要: A first aqueous solution filled in an electrolytic cell (2) is electrolyzed by applying DC voltage between the electrodes 7a and 7b in said electrolytic cell 2, to form an oxidation field short of electrons in said aqueous solution; and then, a second aqueous solution with carboxylic acid dissolved in it is mixed into the first aqueous solution in oxidation field state, so that the first aqueous solution in oxidation field state obtains electrons and is deoxidized, and the carboxylic acid is oxidized, to produce carbonic acid gas in said aqueous solution. Therefore, the present invention can be used to produce carbonic acid gas solution at a low cost easily.

    摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus includes an ink holding chamber, an ultrasonic wave generator having a piezoelectric transducer structure consisting of a piezoelectric member, and first and second electrodes formed on opposing surfaces of the piezoelectric member, and a driver for driving the piezoelectric transducer structure. The piezoelectric transducer structure is coupled acoustically with the ink liquid. The apparatus further includes ultrasonic wave focusing member formed on the ultrasonic wave generator and including an acoustic lens for focusing an ultrasonic wave generated from the ultrasonic wave generator in a vicinity close to a surface of the ink liquid, and a supporting member for supporting the ultrasonic wave generator on an opposite side to the ultrasonic wave focusing member. The supporting member supports the ultrasonic wave generator via an ultrasonic wave canceling medium, in a region corresponding to an overlapping region between the piezoelectric transducer structure and the acoustic lens.
