摘要： An OLT transmits and receives a CMTS/CM apparatus control signal through an apparatus physical management interface which is physically identical to or different from a main signal interface (NNI) and processes the CMTS apparatus control signal by itself. When connection of a new ONU is detected by an ONU apparatus control signal, an IP address is allocated by using the CM apparatus control signal in a manner similar to the CM. The CM apparatus control signal regarding the ONU is transmitted and received by using the IP address and a mutual conversion is performed between the CM apparatus control signal and the ONU apparatus control signal. The ONU processes the ONU apparatus control signal in a manner similar to the ONU based on an ordinary PON standard.

摘要： According to one of embodiments, a method and apparatus for reproducing video and audio changes a playback speed for video and a playback speed for audio independently of each other. To provide an apparatus and method for controlling the playback speeds shortly before a period in which the video and audio should better be played back at a normal-speed, thereby to reduce the strange feeling the user may have as the playback changes from the high-speed playback to the normal-speed playback, a video signal and an audio signal are first isolated from a content and then demodulated. A playback speed is set for the video signal modulated, and a playback speed is set for the audio signal modulated. The video signal and the audio signal, each set to a playback speed, are output.

摘要： In a known wavelength multiplexer, optical signals to pass are passed with their wavelengths held identical. Therefore, unless an unused wavelength common to all zones exists in case of setting an optical channel, the channel cannot be set. According to the present invention, a drop/add type wavelength multiplexer includes a wavelength converting section (50 in FIG. 5) which converts the wavelengths of optical signals to pass from the input side of the multiplexer to the output side thereof. In a network employing the wavelength multiplexers at individual nodes, a new optical channel can be easily set by utilizing wavelengths not used at the nodes.

摘要： A pneumatically operated power tool includes an outer frame, a driving components, a pressure reduction valve, and a switching valve. The outer frame has a compressed air intake portion and defines therein a compressed air chamber. The driving components are disposed in the outer frame and are driven by a compressed air in the compressed air chamber. The pressure reduction valve defines a pressure receiving space and allows a compressed air to flow from the air intake portion to the compressed air chamber and to the pressure receiving space. The switching valve is movable between a first position where the compressed air flows from the compressed air intake portion to the pressure receiving space, and a second position where a communication between the compressed air intake portion and the pressure receiving space is blocked. The pressure reduction valve is configured to set a compressed air pressure in the compressed air chamber to a first pressure level if the switching valve is located at the first position and to set the compressed air pressure to a second pressure level lower than the first pressure level if the switching valve is located at the second position.

摘要： A circuit pattern forming method includes a first ejection step of ejecting large droplets of a circuit pattern forming liquid onto a substrate, by causing a liquid ejection head to scan the substrate, to form first dots of the liquid on the substrate with gaps between the first dots, a second ejection step of ejecting, from the liquid ejection head, before the first dots formed on the substrate solidify, and while the liquid ejection head is caused to scan the substrate in the first ejection step, a small droplet, which is smaller in size than the large droplets, to form a second dot of the liquid between the first dots of the liquid on the substrate and, thereby to form a liquid circuit pattern by mixing the first dots and the second dot together, and a fixing step of solidifying the liquid circuit pattern to form a circuit pattern on the substrate.
