    摘要: A curable composition comprises (A) a vinyl polymer having hydrolyzable silyl groups and/or SiOH groups and organic UV absorbing groups bonded to side chains, (B) an organic UV absorber having a molecular weight of at least 500 and a weight retentivity of at least 95% when held at 150° C. for 24 hours in an open state, and (C) an organosilicon compound containing a nitrogen atom and an alkoxysilyl group in the molecule. The curable composition is coated and cured to an article, whereby the article is endowed with satisfactory weathering resistance while minimizing coloration or degradation.

    摘要: This invention has its purpose in providing a brake fluid pressure control device which is simply structured but still satisfies a driver's braking feeling and which controls wheel cylinder pressure without using master cylinder pressure. The brake fluid pressure control device of this invention is comprised of a master cylinder, a pump, a pipe which connects the suction side of the pump to the pipe of the master cylinder, a closed storage chamber with a fixed capacity which is provided in the pipe and filled with brake fluid, a check valve which is installed closer to the master cylinder than the storage chamber and which allows bidirectional flow of brake fluid from the master cylinder to the suction side of the pump, a control valve used to open and close the passage between the storage chamber and the suction side of the pump, a prohibition means which prohibits flow of brake fluid between the master cylinder and wheel cylinder when brake fluid is drawn from the storage chamber and discharged, a pressure rise/drop control means which controls rise and drop of brake pressure exerted on the wheel cylinder, and a reservoir.

    摘要: A suspension control system for an automotive vehicle is provided which is operable to control transmission of vibratory energy from a road surface to a vehicle body. This suspension control system includes a variable damping force shock absorber, a vertical speed sensor which detects vertical speed of the vehicle body, a relative displacement speed sensor which detects the relative displacement between the vehicle body and a road wheel, and a damping force control unit which is operable to modify a damping force of the variable damping force shock absorber over a range from preselected maximum to minimum values based on the vertical speed and the relative displacement speed. When the vertical speed and the relative displacement speed are smaller than preselected first and second threshold values respectively during vibratory motion of the vehicle body wherein the vertical speed and the relative displacement speed are in the same phase, the damping force control unit controls the variable damping force shock absorber to produce the damping force of a level smaller than the maximum value by a preselected value.
