A data compression apparatus includes: a compression unit that performs a compression process on output data that is sequentially outputted as time series data by a monitoring apparatus for monitoring a monitoring target range; an output unit that outputs the output data on which the compression process is performed, to a data processing apparatus that performs an object detection process for detecting an object that exists in the monitoring target range by using the output data; and a setting unit that sets a compression ratio used in the compression unit, on the basis of an accuracy information indicating a relationship between a compression ratio at which the output data is compressed and a detection accuracy of the object by the object detection process performed by using the output data compressed at the compression ratio.

Efficient use of a virtual appliance corresponding to a dedicated appliance in a communication system will be accomplished. A network control apparatus according to the present invention is a network control apparatus that constructs a function of hardware equipment used in a communication network by using software, and includes: first means for deploying the software capable of executing the function of the hardware equipment in an information processing resource; and second means for instructing a network resource to identify communication data to be processed by the deployed software and to transfer the identified communication data to the information processing resource.

A network communication system and a virtualization method are provided that make it easy to increase/decrease traffic and to develop a network service. A communication system provided on a network boundary includes an edge network (100) including a plurality of nodes, a network control server (110) that can control the nodes in the edge network, and a service server pool (120) in which a plurality of service servers (SM1 to SM n) for respectively providing a plurality of network services are set, wherein the network control server sets a route between a predetermined node in the edge network and each service server, corresponding to each of the plurality of network services.

A video analysis apparatus and the like with improved video analysis accuracy are provided. The video analysis apparatus includes a first video analysis unit and a second video analysis unit. The first video analysis unit is configured to distribute frames to the first video analysis unit or the second video analysis unit, detect a target object in frames which are distributed to be analyzed in the first video analysis unit, and acquire information on movement associated with the detected target object, and transmitting the information on the movement and a detection result in the first detection unit to the second video analysis unit. The second video analysis unit is configured to detect a target object in frames from the distribution unit, and adjust the detection result of the first detection unit based on a detection result in the second detection unit and the information on the movement.

A network control apparatus (10) monitors virtual components (VMM, VM, VNF) on a physical server and physical components (SV, 21A, 21 B, 21C) of a network and, based on network topology information concerning these components, manages at least one virtual network function (VNF) operating on the physical server, and performs setting control on at least one of the virtual components and the physical components so as to solve a problem when the problem occurs at at least one component on at least one of layers operating on the physical server.
