    Abstract: The disclosure is detecting an authentication target who is moving in a predetermined direction in a video; inputting a first image in which an entire body of the target; calculating characteristic information from an image of the entire body in the first image, comparing the calculated characteristic information with characteristic information of the entire body stored in first memory that stores characteristic information of entire bodies of targets, and extracting candidate information of the targets from the first memory based on a first authentication result; inputting a second image in which an iris of the target; and comparing characteristic information of irises stored in second memory that stores the characteristic information of the irises of targets with characteristic information of an iris from the second image, calculating a verification score, executing second authentication on the target in the second image based on the verification score, and outputting an authentication result.

    Abstract: An information processing device acquiring to the present invention includes: a CPU; and a memory storing a program, wherein the CPU, by the program, configures: a variation-amount calculating unit that, for an input image, calculates a variation amount between a value of a predetermined pixel of the input image and values of peripheral pixels of the predetermined pixel; an attribute reliability unit that, based on an attribute that is a property of pixels within a specified area in the input image and the variation amount, calculates attribute reliability of the pixel; a regularization strength estimating unit that, based on image quality information about image quality for the attribute and the attribute reliability, estimates a regularization strength of the pixel; and an image reconstructing unit generates a reconstructed image that is an image acquired by reconstructing the input image by using the regularization strength.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing device whereby the probability of outputting a restored image which accurately corresponds to an original image which is included in a low-quality input image is improved. This image processing device comprises: an image group generating means for generating, from the input image, using a dictionary which stores a plurality of patch pairs wherein a degradation patch which is a patch of a degraded image wherein a prescribed image is degraded is associated with a restoration patch which is a patch of this prescribed image, a plurality of restored image candidates including a plurality of different instances of content which have a possibility of being the original content of the input image; and an image selection presentation means for clustering the generated plurality of restored image candidates, and selecting and outputting an image candidate on the basis of the result of this clustering.

The image selection unit selects a feature image representing a feature portion of an object from among captured images of a time series in which the object is photographed. For example, the feature image corresponds to an image showing an abnormal portion. The recognition unit performs a recognition process of the object using the feature image. By the recognition process, an abnormality of the object is detected.
