摘要: Systems and methods provide for a sensing system for a vehicle system. The sensor monitors including a control circuit having one or more processors. The control circuit is communicatively coupled to a switch based on a Power over Ethernet (PoE) interface. The control circuit receives power from the PoE network switch. The sensor monitors include an interface circuit bi-directionally communicating with one or more sensors to acquire sensor measurements. The control circuit transmits the sensor measurements to the switch using the PoE interface.

摘要: Magnetic-based electronic valve readers for determining a location and orientation of magnets coupled to implantable medical devices to determine a setting of the device (e.g., setting of a fluid flow control valve of the medical device). The electronic valve readers include an orientation sensing mechanism that is provided and configured to enable the electronic valve reader to: 1) allow for internal offset calculation of an orientation change of the electronic valve reader during a reading process; and/or 2) during the reading process, provide an indication or warning to the clinician that the orientation of the electronic valve reader has changed to an extent at or exceeding a predetermined angular acceptance threshold or window. Systems including the disclosed electronic valve readers and methods of reading a setting of the device are also disclosed.

摘要: Wireless sensor devices are described which harvest energy and provide an antenna or antennas for wireless communication on a relatively small form factor, preferably one that is co-extensive with a largest component of the device, e.g., an antenna layer or sensor layer. The devices are able to sense and/or control certain specific parameters of a system; store energy, e.g., in a supercapacitor system or battery system; transmit that as information/signals via a wireless link, e.g., RF or optical link; receive information from other devices and relay that information. Such devices accordingly may be self-powered and wireless devices, and not dependent on a separate device or form factor to provide a power source. Such devices can be entirely autonomous or substantially so, can be mobile or fixed, and may require little servicing over a period of time. The devices can be used as sensor nodes in a wireless mesh network.

摘要: A device and method for increasing the range of a vehicle, which is driven by an electric motor and a high-voltage battery, include an electronic control unit which is programmed such that on the basis of the high-voltage battery charge state, which is continuously estimated in an updated manner, a corresponding remaining range is displayed to the driver. A lower charge state limit is defined, which is associated with a remaining range to be displayed of null when the charge state is estimated in an error-free manner. The lower charge state limit is associated with a defined first minimally permissible cell voltage limit. During a driving operation, it is determined whether a greater range is being displayed than what can be demanded on the basis of the current charge state due to an estimation error. The display is not corrected by the estimation error difference. And, an emergency mode is automatically activated if an estimation error has been detected, wherein the cell voltage is reduced below the first cell voltage limit in the emergency mode.

摘要: A head-up display (HUD) device displays a first virtual image in an area in which the first virtual image can be displayed, and displays a second virtual image in an area in which the second virtual image can be displayed. The HUD device includes: a rotation driving unit which changes an angle formed between the area in which the first virtual image can be displayed, and the area in which the second virtual image can be displayed; and a control unit which performs virtual image angle adjustment processing for adjusting the angle using the rotation driving unit, and, when performing the virtual image angle adjustment processing, virtual image position changing processing in which the position of the second virtual image in the area in which the second virtual image can be displayed is changed to inhibit deviation in the relative positional relationship between the first and second virtual images.
