Abstract: An apparatus suitable for at least to: transmit at least one first random access request by using a first preamble to a first handover target cell or to a first beam provided by a serving cell, if responded, carry out a synchronization to the first handover target cell or to the first beam provided by the serving cell, if not responded, transmit at least one second random access request by using at least one second preamble to at least one second handover target cell or to at least one second beam provided by the serving cell; store information on not-responded random access requests and/or resources not used for random access requests, wherein the information comprises preambles used, and transmit, after being synchronized, the stored information to the first handover target cell, the at least one second handover target cell and/or the serving cell for being used in random access resource allocation.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to techniques that enable an efficient Radio Link Monitoring (RLM) for a User Equipment (UE) in a multi Transmitter Receiver Point (mTRP) scenario. For this purpose, a serving cell of a serving Distributed Unit (DU) of a disaggregated network node and at least one non-serving (or stand-by) cell of a non-serving DU of the disaggregated network node are configured fora UE. Then, the UE is informed of beams used for the serving and non-serving cells. The UE performs the RLM over the serving cell by using the beams of the serving cell. Whenever there is an Radio Link (RL) quality degradation (which may potentially lead to an RL Failure (RLF)) detected in the serving cell, the UE may initiate switching of the RLM from the serving cell to one of the non-serving cells by transmitting a corresponding request to the serving DU.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to QoE measurement collection in non-connected State. In an example method, a terminal device receives, from an access network device, a quality of experience (QoE) measurement collection (QMC) procedure configuration indicating whether a QMC procedure is to be continued when the terminal device enters into a non-connected state. Then, the terminal device logs, in a logging buffer, QMC logging data of the QMC procedure performed at the terminal device in the non-connected state based on determining that the QMC procedure configuration indicates that the QMC procedure is to be continued when the terminal device enters into the non-connected state. In this way, QMC data collected in a non-connected state can be stored in the logging buffer so that the needed QMC data collected during non-connected state can be maintained.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to the field of wireless communications, and particularly to a network-based mechanism for early detection of failures during fast Master Cell Group (MCG) recovery. For this purpose, a Secondary Node (SN) may determine that a User Equipment (UE) experiencing an MCG failure is unable to receive a command for handover (HO) from a source MCG to a target MCG. This determination may be based on the occurrence of at least one of the following events: (i) a recovery timer (e.g., T316 timer) has expired at the UE, and (ii) a number of retransmissions performed by the SN to deliver the HO command to the UE reaches a threshold before the recovery timer expires. The SN may then report the fast MCG recovery failure to a Master Node (MN), with the indication that event (i) and/or event (ii) has occurred. This may allow the MN to take appropriate actions (e.g., properly correct the recovery timer), which may in turn decrease the interruption time caused by similar MCG failures and save network resources in the future.
