    摘要: One or more fabric control circuits may be inserted in a communication fabric to control various aspects of the communications by components in the system. The fabric control circuits may be included on the interface of the components to the communication fabric, for example. Some systems that include a hierarchical communication fabric may also include fabric control circuits that may alternatively or additionally be included. The fabric control circuits may be programmable, and thus may provide the ability to tune the communication fabric to meet performance and/or functionality goals.

For example, the devices may operate according to initial parameters that are above sustainable parameters and the update information may lower the operating parameters based on the aging information.

    摘要: An electric machine contains a rotor which contains a first longitudinal section at the ambient air temperature and a second longitudinal section cooled at least partially to cryogenic temperature, a coolant inlet pipe extending into the second longitudinal section, wherein the inlet pipe is set at a distance from the rotor by a radial gap, wherein the inlet pipe in the first longitudinal section is mounted by at least two bearings, wherein the bearings are distributed on axial positions in such a way that upon action of a maximum radial force on the inlet pipe the pipe has a maximum deflection which is smaller than the radial gap. In a method for determining the axial positions, various batches of potential locations are chosen for the axial positions of the bearings, according to potential locations which has a minimum gap greater than zero.

    摘要: In an embodiment, a display apparatus includes multiple physical interface circuits (PHYs) couple to respective displays. In a mirror mode, the PHYs may operate as masters. A primary master PHY may control a synchronization interface to one or more secondary master PHYs. The synchronization interface may include a start of frame signal that the primary master PHY may generate to indicate the beginning of a new frame. The secondary master PHYs may be configured to generate internal start of frame signals while independently processing the same display data as the primary master. If the internally-generated start of frame and the received start of frame occur within a window of tolerance of each other, then the secondary masters may continue to process the display data stream independently. A secondary master that detects the start of frames occur outside of the window of tolerance may resynchronize.

    摘要: Adjusting a phase locked loop (PLL) clock source to reduce wireless communication (e.g., radio frequency (RF)) interference within a device. The PLL may be included in a high speed serial interface, e.g., coupled to a display, and may be initially driven by a first clock. Later, when a second clock is available and aligned with the first clock, the PLL may be driven by the second clock. The second clock may be configured to change its frequency over time such that the PLL does not lose lock and also does not interfere (or reduces interference) with wireless communication of the device. For example, the second clock may be programmable or may dynamically vary its operating frequency, thereby reducing its interference with the wireless communication of the device.
