    摘要： Adhesive layers are formed on the two opposing surfaces of a transparent support. At least one of the adhesive layers is made of a material of which the cured state may be changed. The adhesive layer is irradiated with light and a lens sheet is then pressed against the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer is cured. In this illustrative way, a laminate film of the lens sheet fixed to the transparent support via the adhesive layer may be obtained. The laminate film may be bonded to a polarizing plate on the viewer's side of a liquid crystal display element via the other adhesive layer.

    摘要： An apparatus is provided for purifying an exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine, which comprises a first exhaust gas passage including a nitrogen oxide removing catalyst and a three way catalyst, a second exhaust gas passage including the three way catalyst, a gas flow regulator for selectively directing the exhaust gas to the first and second exhaust gas passages, and a control unit which directs the exhaust gas to the first exhaust gas passage (thereby passing exhaust gas first through the nitrogen oxide removing catalyst and thereafter through the three way catalyst) when the temperature of the nitrogen oxide removing catalyst is within a hydrocarbon adsorbing range of temperature thereof while the engine is warming up, and to the second exhaust gas passage (thereby passing the exhaust gas only through the three way catalyst) when the temperature of the nitrogen oxide removing catalyst exceeds the hydrocarbon adsorbing range of temperature thereof.

    摘要： An image display apparatus is disclosed which includes: an optical system including a light source and at least one projection lens; a display means for forming a display image, the display means including a non-luminescent display panel and a microlens array disposed on the light-incidence side of the display panel; and at least one projection lens for projecting the display image; wherein the display panel and the microlens array are combined with each other by means of an adhesive made of a transparent material. In cases where the microlens array is provided with color filters which are arranged so as to correspond to the microlenses of this array, the image display apparatus can provide a bright display of color images with an improved contrast. Moreover, when the display panel and the microlens array are combined with each other by means of an adhesive containing spacers, the image display apparatus has a high thermal reliability.
