    摘要: An information navigation apparatus monitors a user's preferential tendencies among huge amounts of digital content using as objective a criterion as possible, and displays content information that would facilitate the user's content selection based on the monitored data. The apparatus is capable of accommodating the user's modification of his or her preferential tendencies on the spot. The information navigation apparatus comprises a content selection history memory unit for storing a user's content selection history, a content information database for storing content information about digital content, a preference analysis unit for analyzing the user's preferences based on said content information and said user's content selection history, and display means for displaying the result of analysis of the user's preferences by said preference analysis unit.

    摘要: In an image input-output apparatus capable of a copy mode operation for printing image data, read by an image reader unit. The printing operation by the printer engine in the copy mode operation are mutually synchronized whereby the image data read by the image reader unit are directly transmitted to the printer engine, and, in the print mode operation or in the read mode operation, the memory is accessed according to the operation of the printer engine and the image reader. The image input-output apparatus judges, based on the input document data, whether the operation in the first mode is possible, and, if possible, the print mode operation and the read mode operation are permitted in parallel. If the operation in the first mode is not possible, such parallel operation is inhibited. In case of a request for a copy mode operation in the course of a print mode operation, the print mode operation is interrupted and the copy mode operation is executed and the print result is outputted in empty bins if predetermined conditions are met.

    摘要: Myo-inositol in a specimen is assayed by reacting a specimen containing myo-inositol with:a) myo-inositol dehydrogenase using a thio-NADP group or thio-NAD group and an NADP group or NAD group as coenzymes, and which catalyzes a reversible reaction forming myo-inosose from myo-inositol,b ) A.sub.1 andc) B.sub.1to effect a cycling reaction ##STR1## wherein A.sub.1 is a thio-NADP group, thio-NAD group, NADP group or NAD group, A.sub.2 is a reduced form of A.sub.1, when A.sub.1 is a thio-NADP group or thio-NAD group, B.sub.1 is a reduced NADP group or reduced NAD group and when A.sub.1 is an NADP group or NAD group, B.sub.1 is a reduced thio-NADP group or reduced thio-NAD group, and wherein B.sub.2 is an oxidized form of B.sub.1. The change in the amount of A.sub.2 generated or B.sub.1 consumed by the cycling reaction is measured to perform the assay. A composition for performing the assay comprises the above myo-inositol dehydrogenase, as well as the above components A.sub.1 and B.sub.1. The myo-inositol dehydrogenase can be produced by culturing a suitable microorganism belonging to genus Bacillus, particularly Bacillus sp. No. 3 FERM BP-3013.

    摘要: A data processing apparatus comprises: a memory for storing image information as bit image data; a data converter for overlapping the bit image data with another data in the memory; and a control unit having a microprocessor for instructing the operation of the data converter, in which the data converter is activated by an activating order and performs the overlapping operation while the control unit is executing another order. The data converter has a data shifting circuit to shift the foregoing data by only desired bits and overlap it on the bit image data. The overlapping operation of the data into the memory and the clearing operation of the memory can be synchronously performed. With this apparatus, a memory having a large capacity can be effectively used and the burden on the CPU can be reduced upon writing of the data into the memory and a high data processing speed is obtained.
