The evaluator includes a detector stage for determining whether the sensor signal or the values derived therefrom lie within a normal range (UGR, OGR), and a selector stage for switching to a predetermined base interval mode of operating of the wipes when the detector stage determines that the sensor signal or the values derived therefrom lie outside of the normal range.

摘要： A device which determines a condition of at least one wiper blade of a motor-vehicle windshield wiper. The device includes a rain sensor controlling the motor-vehicle windshield wiper and being utilized for determining the condition of the wiper blade. The device also includes an evaluation circuit receiving data from the rain sensor. The evaluation circuit evaluates wear and tear of a rubber wiper element of the wiper blade based on one of a slow and continuous change of the data and a quick and continuous change of the data provided by the rain sensor.

If illustratively the housing (145) is emplaced externally around the stator (132) then the inside diameter of said housing may be varied during installation of the stator (132) or rotor in a manner that the housing may be positioned around the installed plate segment blocks (34, 134) and also may be radially clamped against them.

摘要： The jointed stand comprises two joint or swivel heads coupled to each other and two arms each extending from a related one of the joint heads and terminating in a respective ball-and-socket joint. Each ball-and-socket joint is operatively associated with a push or thrust rod which slidably extends through the related arm and cooperates with a related transmission or transfer member in the associated joint or swivel head. Each transfer or displacement member has two oppositely inclined surfaces on opposite sides thereof which are supported at an associated end of the related push rod and at the joint head, respectively, by means of roller bodies. A hinge pin extends through the transmission members with clearance. A tightening element coacts with the hinge pin in order to be able to cam the transmission members at the roller bodies, so as to be able to selectively positively lock in place the arms and ball-and-socket joints and, when desired, to quickly release such locking action.
