Abstract:
A method for wireless communications includes determining a time division duplex (TDD) configuration of a non-serving network. The method also includes detecting interference from the non-serving network based at least in part on the TDD configuration of the non-serving network. The method further includes signaling an eNodeB of the interference based at least in part on the detecting.
Abstract:
A user equipment (UE) may reduce coexistence issues with one or more radio access technologies (RATs) caused by a bursty interference. The bursty interference may be detected by detecting a number of modes in a measured signal sample and determining when a signal contains a multi-modal distribution based at least in part on the detecting. A coexistence indication is created based at least in part on the determining.
Abstract:
Dynamic adjustment of antenna selection period at a wireless communication device or user equipment having two or more antennas. The described approaches consider an antenna selection performance metric. The antenna selection performance metric may include both measurement overhead (capacity loss due to measurements) and antenna switching capacity gain (gain in capacity through switching antenna subsets). The antenna selection performance metric may further include an estimate of UE speed or an antenna selection change rate. The antenna selection period may be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the antenna selection period based on the antenna selection performance metric. Antenna selection may be enabled or disabled based on the antenna selection performance metric.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for transmitting a clear to send (CTS)-to-self indication. According to certain aspects, a method for wireless communications by a wireless device is provided. The method generally includes scheduling a first antenna at the wireless device for communication using one of a first radio access technology (RAT) or a second RAT, scheduling one or more other antennas at the wireless device configured for communication using the first RAT, for communication using the second RAT in order to enable one of transmit diversity on the second RAT or simultaneous communication on the first and second RATs, and transmitting an idle-mode indication to force the first RAT to an idle mode
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for RF channel selection in a multi-frequency network. A method includes identifying selected local operations infrastructures (LOIs) and their neighboring LOIs, generating a neighbor description message (NDM) that identifies the selected LOIs and their neighboring LOIs and associates a descrambling sequence identifier with each RF channel of the selected LOIs and their neighboring LOIs, and distributing the NDM over the selected LOIs. An apparatus includes a message decoder to receive an NDM that identifies RF channels of a first LOI and neighboring LOIs, and wherein each RF channel is associated with a descrambling sequence identifier, and processing logic to detect content acquisition failures, determine a list of RF channels and their associated LOIs that carry desired content, and select a selected RF channel that is associated with a selected LOI that carries the most additional content among the associated LOIs.

Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) to a base station using an SRS antenna switch (SRS-AS) or an SRS carrier switch (SRS-CS) transmission technique and the UE may feature multiple antenna groups that have separate exposure budgets due to their spatial separation. The UE may employ one or more accounting procedures for tracking energy contributions associated with the SRS across the multiple antenna groups of the UE and may employ one or more power control procedures for setting a transmit power for an uplink signal in accordance with the energy contributions associated with the SRS.
Abstract:
A device may selectively listen for a tracking reference signal (TRS) during connected mode discontinuous reception (CDRx) based on whether the device is to switch between repeaters of a base station (such as during travel). A device may determine whether the device is in a high speed train (HST) scenario (such as based on a difference in frequency errors generated using a synchronization signal block (SSB) and generated using a TRS, based on a trajectory of a frequency error or a frequency error difference over time, based on instantaneous frequency errors, etc.). When the device is in a HST scenario, the device listens for a TRS during CDRx, and the device generates a frequency error using the TRS. When the device is not in a HST scenario, the device prevents listening for a TRS during CDRx (with a SSB received during CDRx to be used to generate a frequency error).

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may receive downlink data that is associated with triggering a feedback message; transmit, before receiving the feedback message for the downlink data at a component of the user equipment, a scheduling request to request an allocation of a set of resources for transmitting the feedback message; and transmit the feedback message in connection with the set of resources. Numerous other aspects are provided.
