摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communication. An exemplary method generally includes receiving an indication of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) to use for transmitting information, wherein the indication of the MCS indicates an MCS index value corresponding to an entry in an MCS lookup table, determining, based on the MCS index value, a transport block size (TBS) to use for transmitting the information, wherein determining the TBS comprises receiving an explicit indication of the TBS to use for transmitting the information, and transmitting the information using the MCS and TBS.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device may aggregate multiple data bits into a group of data bits associated with an application on the device. The device may determine quality of service parameters associated with the group of data bits. The quality of service parameters may include an error rate associated with the group of data bits, a delay budget associated with the group of data bits, timing information associated with the group of data bits, or content policy information associated with the group of data bits, or a combination thereof. The device may transmit the group of data bits to another device in the wireless communication system. The group of data bits may include group header information including an indication of the quality of service parameters.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a transmitting device may be configured to transmit a transport block in a set of transmission time intervals (TTIs) of a repetition window to improve the chances that the transport block is received by a receiving device. In some cases, however, the transport block may not be available to be transmitted in the repetition window until after a first TTI of the repetition window. In such cases, a transmitting device may use the techniques described herein to identify appropriate configurations for transmitting the transport block in the repetition window. For example, the transmitting device may identify an adjusted redundancy version sequence to use for transmitting the transport block in the repetition window or the transmitting device may adjust a repetition window based on a TTI in which the transport block is available to be transmitted.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may use an increased transmit power for one or more instances of an autonomous uplink transmission. For example, a UE may be configured with a repetition window including multiple transmission time intervals (TTIs) and may identify a subset of TTIs within the window that may be unavailable for autonomous uplink transmissions. The UE may adjust transmit power or transmit a scheduling request based on the presence of unavailable TTIs. In some examples, the UE may increase the transmit power by an amount that is based on a number of unavailable TTIs, or a fixed amount, or a combination thereof. In some examples, a UE with limited transmit power (e.g., under a maximum transmit power) may dynamically transmit a report to a base station that includes a request to modify a communications scheme used by the UE.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may identify one or more first user equipments (UEs) that have been configured for grant-free transmissions on an allocation of resources. In some cases, the base station may then schedule an uplink transmission for a second UE on resources that overlap the allocation of resources. Accordingly, the base station may transmit a power adjustment indication (PAI) to the one or more first UEs to adjust a transmit power for uplink transmissions on the overlapping resources. In some cases, the PAI may include an indication of frequency-domain resources for the power adjustment indicated in the PAI, a specified time duration for the power adjustment indicated in the PAI, an indication of specific uplink transmissions to which the transmit power adjustment is to be applied, or a combination thereof.

摘要: Techniques are described herein for collision handling in uplink transmissions. A user equipment (UE) may have more information to transmit during an uplink transmission than the allocated resources can handle. The UE may identify that an uplink transmission includes a plurality of different channels. The UE may exclude service types or scale the transmit power of service types based on performing a prioritization of the different channels in the uplink transmission. In some cases, the UE may prioritize ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC) service types over enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB) service types. In some cases, the content of the URLLC service types and the content of the eMBB service types may be considered when prioritizing. The UE may be capable of configuring different sets of priority rules based on reliability thresholds and latency thresholds associated with the service types.

摘要: Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to uplink preemption in certain systems, such as new radio (NR) systems, supporting carrier aggregation (CA) and/or multi-connectivity modes. A method for wireless communication, that can be performed by a user equipment (UE), generally includes receiving a resource assignment scheduling the UE for uplink transmission. The UE receives an indication to preempt uplink transmission on a portion of the assigned resources and determines whether to transmit on the remaining assigned resources. A method that can be performed by a base station (BS) generally includes receiving an indication from one or more UEs indicating, for each of a plurality of band combinations, a capability of the UE to transmit on a band when transmission on another band in the band combination is preempted and scheduling the one or more UEs for uplink transmission based on the indication.

摘要: Techniques are described for operating procedures associated with packet duplication. A packet data protocol convergence protocol (PDCP) entity of a transmitting device may duplicate a received packet to form a set of copied packets. Each packet in the set of copied packets may include the information of the received packet. Each packet of the set of copied packets may be transmitted using a different radio link control (RLC) entity. Procedures are described for configuring duplication bearers. Procedures are described for activating or deactivating packet duplication. Procedures are described for handling RLC entities at deactivation. Procedures are described for discarding some duplicate packets after a packet has been successfully decoded by a receiving device. Procedures are described for delaying transmission of duplicate packets to improve efficient use of communication resources. Procedures are described for buffer status report (BSR) reporting for duplication bearers.
