    摘要: A wrench for action on a work piece is provided. The wrench is a box end socket wrench. The socket wrench has an elongated handle with a box head. The box head has a top and a bottom surface and an inner wall defining an inner aperture. The inner wall is shaped to receive the work piece and has a receiving groove spaced apart from the top surface of the box head to receive a biased member. The biased member extends into the inner aperture of the box head to releasably secure the work piece. When the work piece is inserted in the inner aperture of the box head, the work piece sits flush with the corresponding top and bottom surface of the box head of the wrench.

    摘要: This invention provides a composition matter comprising rare earth-doped up-conversion nanoparticles (UCNPs) encapsulated with a silica shell. In one embodiment, a photosensitizer is incorporated into the silica shell. In another embodiment, the composition further comprises a targeting molecule. In still another embodiment, a small interfering RNA (siRNA) molecule is also attached to the silica shell with the targeting molecule. The invention further provides methods for synthesizing such compositions and for using them in therapeutic and diagnostic applications. These applications use infrared or near infrared activation to excite the UCNPs.

    摘要: A method of casting a base of high-power wind turbines with low-temperature nodular graphite iron, using furan resin sand as the mold sand and having no risers or chills in the mold. The mold undergoes microseismic compaction and has no chills risers. The parting face of the mold is perpendicular to the ground. The molten iron in the mold is solidified evenly. Therefore, shrinkage holes and disperse shrinkages base are reduced greatly and the dregs and air are discharged easily for the base. The pouring system designed together with a reasonable pouring rate and time make the filtering system useful for blocking dregs.
