    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may identify a channel raster associated with a plurality of resource blocks of a channel. The plurality of resource blocks may have an asymmetric relation with respect to the channel raster. The base station may configure, based at least in part on the asymmetric relation, a message to indicate a resource block offset metric that comprises an indication of the channel raster and location information associated with a first resource block of the plurality of resource blocks. The base station may transmit the message to convey the indication of the resource block offset metric.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a serving cell associated with a wireless network, a radio resource management (RRM) mode indicator that indicates a set of one or more beams for which cell measurement and reporting is to be performed by the UE; performing at least one cell measurement on at least one synchronization signal (SS) block received from at least one neighboring cell; determining, based at least in part on the RRM mode indicator, whether to decode a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) received in each SS block of the at least one SS block; and transmitting a cell measurement report, the cell measurement report based at least in part on the at least one cell measurement, the cell measurement report selectively including at least one beam index based at least in part on whether the PBCH is decoded.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. In some wireless communications systems, a base station may transmit control information to a user equipment (UE) in a control resource set (coreset) of a transmission time interval (TTI). As described herein, the base station may transmit common control information in a common search space (CSS) of the coreset and a UE-specific control information in a UE-specific search space (USS) of the same coreset. In addition, the base station may transmit reference signals in the coreset to allow the UE to perform channel estimation to correctly decode or demodulate the control information in the CSS and USS of the coreset. In some examples, the reference signals transmitted in the CSS and USS of the coreset may include a common sequence for the coreset.

    Abstract: Systems and methods herein increase the throughput and decreases the collisions of transmitted resource element group (REG) bundles. Prior to transmitting a PDCCH comprising REG bundles, one or more processors perform a multi-component interleaver process that diversifies and randomizes the sequence of the REG bundles while also supporting CORESETs having different symbol lengths. In embodiments, the multi-component interleaver diversifies a virtual sequence of REG bundles using a block interleaver and then uses a randomizer interleaver to randomize the output sequence of the block interleaver. The diversified and randomized output sequence of REG bundles may be the physical channel sequenced of the REG bundles. The physical channel sequence of REG bundles is diversified and randomized such that the physical sequence increases throughput and decreases the collisions of transmitted REG bundles. Other aspects are claimed and described.
