Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to techniques for selecting a base graph to be used for wireless communications. Selection can be based on a variety of factors. Abase graph can be used to derive a low-density parity-check (LDPC) code used for encoding a retransmission of an original transmission. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a base station performs one or more angle-based measurements in a first coordinate system, determines whether to report, to a positioning entity, the one or more angle-based measurements in a local coordinate system (LCS) or a global coordinate system (GCS), and reports the one or more angle-based measurements to the positioning entity in the LCS or the GCS based on the determination. In an aspect, a positioning entity receives, from a base station, one or more angle-based measurements in an LCS of the base station or a GCS, determines whether the one or more angle-based measurements are in the LCS or the GCS, and processes the one or more angle-based measurements based on the determination.

Abstract: Fallback procedures for user equipments (UEs) are described that provide efficient fallback to a four-step random access procedure from a two-step random access procedure. For example, after transmitting a first message of a two-step random access procedure, a UE may start a fallback timer or counter and monitor for a second message of the two-step random access procedure for the duration of the fallback timer or counter. At the expiration of the fallback timer or counter, the UE may fall back to a four-step random access procedure. In some cases, the UE may transmit multiple repetitions of the first message and monitor for responses after transmitting the repetitions or after each repetition. Additionally, or alternatively, the base station may transmit an explicit signal to the UE that may signal to the UE to perform a fallback procedure at a beginning or middle of a random access procedure.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems may support flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink transmissions. A base station may transmit broadcast signaling (e.g., a system information block (SIB)) indicating waveform configuration information for an autonomous uplink transmission by a user equipment (UE). In some cases, the broadcast signaling may include a waveform configuration field (WCF) that may indicate whether flexible waveforms for autonomous uplink are supported, may configure a waveform type, may indicate waveform configuration mapping rules, etc. As such, a UE may identify whether flexible waveform configuration for autonomous uplink is supported, and may determine waveform types for autonomous uplink transmissions based on waveform type configuration information from a base station (e.g., which may include an indication of whether flexible waveform configuration is supported, an indication of waveform type/scenario mapping rules, etc.), one or more LUTs, identified autonomous uplink scenarios, autonomous uplink transmission parameters, or some combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to estimate a signal-to-noise ratio for each antenna port associated with a reception of one or more tracking reference signals. The UE may receive one or more of multiple single-port tracking reference signals, a single multi-port tracking reference signal, or a tracking reference signal associated with multiple power ratios. The UE may be able to estimate a channel upon receiving a demodulation reference signal. The channel estimation may be based on the reception of one or more of multiple single-port tracking reference signals, the single multi-port tracking reference signal, or the tracking reference signal associated with multiple power ratios. The UE may communicate with the base station based on estimating the channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for wireless communication are described. In some wireless systems (e.g., new radio (NR) systems), a system may employ fixed or variable length uplink burst regions (e.g., in an uplink-centric slot). The base station may semi-statically or dynamically configure a user equipment (UE) or group of UEs for uplink control channel transmissions within an uplink burst region. In semi-static configuration, the UE may determine the uplink control channel transmission based on values transmitted or indicated via higher-layer signaling or based on default values. In dynamic configuration, the UE may receive an indication of actual resources used by the base station in a physical layer message. The UE may transmit using an uplink control channel transmission based on the indication. In some cases, the base station may allocate code division multiplexing (CDM) groups based on which UEs are semi-statically configured and which are dynamically configured.
