摘要： An exemplary method for conserving power of a portable communication device includes supplying voltage by a power supply of the portable communication device; distributing one or more corresponding voltages to other components; the portable communication device entering a normal mode and enabling user-selected prompts after being powered by one of said voltages; generating digital voltage signals corresponding to the voltage supplied by the power supply; detecting a voltage of the digital voltage signals to obtain a detected voltage; comparing the detected voltage with a predetermined value; changing a current mode of the portable communication device from the normal mode to a power conserving mode, if the detected voltage is equal to or less than the predetermined value and the current mode is the normal mode; and disabling a pickup button of the portable communication device. Thereby, an operational time of other units of the portable communication device can be prolonged.

摘要： An input device capable of locking a computer system is provided. The input device has an interface, a pressure sensor, and a microcontroller. The interface is for communicating with the computer system. The pressure sensor is for generating pressure sensing signals if pressed. The microcontroller is configured for scanning occurrence of the pressure sensing signals in real time, and generating and transmitting a lock signal through the interface to signal the computer system to perform a system lock operation if the microcontroller has not detected the pressure sensing signals in a predetermined time period. A related method is also provided.

摘要： An apparatus and method for automatically selecting an audio play mode mainly is provided. The apparatus includes an audio reading unit and a play mode selecting unit. The audio reading unit reads an audio data frame, obtains and recognizes a play mode identifier from a frame header of the audio data frame, and generates an associated play mode control signal according to the recognized play mode identifier. The play mode selecting unit selects a corresponding play mode to output the audio data frame according to the play mode control signal from the audio reading unit. A related method is also provided.

The system includes one or more sound output apparatuses, each sound output apparatus having been assigned an identification (ID) code; a server for storing the ID code and corresponding compensation parameters for each sound output apparatus; and an audio signal generating device, connected to the server through a network. The audio signal generating device includes a compensation parameter obtaining module for obtaining the ID code of a sound output apparatus if the sound output apparatus is connected to the audio signal generating device, and downloading compensation parameters corresponding to the ID code from the server; and a compensation unit for regulating audio signals according to the compensation parameters, and outputting the regulated audio signals to the sound output apparatus via an interface. 摘要： A method for controlling light-emitting diode (LED) backlight modules applied in an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first display and a second display. The second display includes at least two display areas. Each display area corresponds to one LED backlight module, and each display area displays option icons of an option type. The method includes: determining the file type of a file currently displayed on the first display and determining which of the option types the determined file type corresponds to; determining which of the at least two LED backlight modules the at least one determine option type corresponds to; and outputting control signals to turn on at least one of the determined LED backlight modules. A related electronic device is also provided.
