摘要： A carton for packaging one or two layers of flanged tubs. The bottom panel is formed from adhesively connected overlapping flaps which contain cutouts. Lower portions of the tubs extend through openings in the bottom panel formed by the cutouts. Tabs foldably connected to the inner overlapping bottom panel flap prevent adhesive from contacting the tubs and also strengthen the bottom panel. When two layers of tubs are packaged support flaps connected to the side panels extend between the stacked tubs of the upper and lower layers.

摘要： A process and apparatus for heating fluids, particularly for heating cooking oil within a deep fat fryer. A fuel-air mixture is introduced and combusted within a combustion tube, preferably of either a power burner or a pulse combustor. The flue gases are discharged from the combustion tube, into a plenum. A baffle arrangement is used to direct the flue gases from the plenum through a passageway, creating flue gas flow in one direction over a primary portion of an outer surface of the fluid container, and then in a counterflow direction over a secondary portion of the outer surface of the fluid container. The flue gases are then discharged from the passageway into a flue stack. According to the process and apparatus of this invention, flue gas temperatures are reduced to about 200.degree. F.-400.degree. F., nitrogen oxides can be reduced to 10 ppm or lower, carbon monoxide is reduced to 4 ppm or lower, and the overall thermal efficiency of the fluid heater is increased to approximately 80-85 percent.

摘要： This relates to a multicell carrier which is advantageously formed from two separate generally rectangular blanks as opposed to a single generally L-shaped blank. By forming the carrier from two separate blanks, each of which is generally rectangular, a maximum board usage may be obtained and at the same time board is available, without waste, for forming handle reinforcing flaps. In addition, by providing two separate blanks and effecting the simultaneous folding of the two blanks, although the two blanks must be joined in the forming of a carrier, greater glue and folding speed is obtainable as compared to the forming of a like carrier from a single L-shaped blank. A particular feature of the carrier is that a body blank is provided which will not form the entire body of the carrier and a combined divider and handle blank will be provided with a body panel which will be joined to opposite ends of the body blank to complete the carrier body and at the same time provide a secure connection between the two blanks.

摘要： A pulsing combustion device wherein a floating valve member having a plurality of ports therethrough reciprocates due to the pressure differential of a pressurized supply of combustible mixture on one side and pressurized combustion mixture on the other side closing and opening communication through the ports between the supply of combustible mixture and the combustion chamber. Flat plate floating valve members are disclosed which direct the combustible mixture along the periphery of the combustion chamber. The pulsing combustion device may have at least one constrictor plate having an exhaust port with a cross section relatively small with respect to the cross section of the combustion chamber located across the combustion chamber above the zone of combustion to enhance combustion and heat exchange. The pulsing combustion device may be used as a steam producing device, a steam cleaning device, a heating device, a water heater, or for any other fluid heating purpose.

摘要： A combination doll and accessory is provided in which the doll has an articulated limb mounted for movement relative to the doll's torso and pneumatically actuated bellows in the body for moving the limb upon application of pressure to an air reservoir contained in the doll's body. An accessory for use with the doll, for example a carriage, includes a second air reservoir and a conduit which can be connected to the air reservoir in the doll's body through a selectively operable valve. When the doll is connected to the accessory the articulated limb can be actuated by either squeezing the doll or the air reservoir on the carriage.

摘要： An improved coal deashing process wherein coal is mixed with a first dissolving solvent, heated, solubilized and flashed to provide a prepared mixture. The flashing is effected at a temperature below about 650.degree. F. to increase the amount of the first dissolving solvent in the prepared mixture. The prepared mixture then is mixed with a second dissolving solvent to produce a feed mixture which is subjected to two or more successive phase separations. Insoluble coal products present are separated from the feed mixture in a first separation zone and the soluble coal products are recovered from the first and the second dissolving solvents in a second separation zone. The second dissolving solvent is recovered from the first and the second heavy fractions and the second light fraction for recycling to aid in producing the feed mixture. The first dissolving solvent is recovered from the first and second flash zones. This results in an enhanced recovery of the first dissolving solvent for recycle for utilization in the initial solubilization of the coal.

摘要： A non-linear shaped charge perforator for use in perforating an oil and gas formation into which a wellbore has been drilled comprises a monolithic, axisymmetric metal case in which is disposed a main explosive charge between the front of the case, which is closed with a concave metal liner, and the closed back end of the case. The main explosive charge contains multiple initiation points, preferably two initiation points located about 180° apart on the outside surface of the charge, so that when the perforator is detonated the main charge is initiated such that the metal liner is collapsed into a non-circular jet, preferably a fan-shaped jet, that pierces the casing of the wellbore and forms non-circular perforations, preferably slot-shaped perforations, in the surrounding formation.
