    摘要: Images to be printed include color images and monochromatic images in combination, the color and monochromatic images are transferred onto an intermediate transfer member, in such a manner that no image-bearable area of the intermediate transfer member is left unused. Before all the four colors of the color image are transferred to the intermediate transfer member, the printing of the monochromatic images are completed. A sheet bearing the printed monochromatic images are temporarily stacked and stored so that the sheets can be finally discharged in the original order of the images. In this manner, it is possible to make good use of the intermediate transfer member, thereby shortening the time required for image formation and improving the throughput of the printing operation.

    摘要: A hot-dip Zn—Al—Mg plated steel sheet good in corrosion resistance and surface appearance that is a hot-dip Zn-base plated steel sheet obtained by forming on a surface of a steel sheet a hot-dip Zn—Al—Mg plating layer composed of Al: 4.0-10 wt. %, Mg: 1.0-4.0 wt. % and the balance of Zn and unavoidable impurities, the plating layer having a metallic structure including a primary crystal Al phase or a primary crystal Al phase and a Zn single phase in a matrix of Al/Zn/Zn2Mg ternary eutectic structure.     摘要: A plurality of flat power supply elements, each having a flat case for serving as an element terminal and an electrode plate arranged in the case in a close contact manner through an insulating layer for serving as another element terminal. An opening formed in the case for partially exposing the electrode plate. The flat power supply elements are bonded onto a flexible circuit board by an insulating bonding layer. A first external connection terminal which is provided on the circuit board is connected to the electrode plate of one power supply element through a first conductive member. A connecting conductor which is also provided on the circuit board is electrically connected to the case of this one power supply element through a second conductive member and connected to the electrode plate of another power supply element through a third conductive member. A second external connection terminal which is provided on the circuit board is electrically connected to the case of this another power supply element through a fourth conductive member. Thus, a plurality of flat power supply elements having excellent sealing structures are combined with each other to provide an integrated thin power supply unit with no increase in thickness.

    摘要: One method of manufacturing a polarizable electrode for an electric double-layer capacitor includes, in order, the steps of: preforming a kneaded substance of fine carbon powder, a polymer resin containing fluorine, and a liquid lubricant into a sheet-type preform; adjusting the content of the liquid lubricant in the sheet-type preform to 10 to 47 percent by weight; shaping the preform into a prescribed thickness, optionally but advantageously with heated rolls; and then substantially removing the liquid lubricant from the preform. In another disclosed method, first the liquid lubricant is substantially removed, and then the sheet-type preform is rolled with rollers that are heated to substantially 90.degree.-120.degree. C. In either of the above methods, the rollers are controlled to have a circumferential speed of 0.7-5 m/min and the rollers shape the preform into a sheet substantially 0.04 to 0.5 mm in thickness for serving as a polarizable electrode.
