摘要: When during the operation of recording a signal onto a disk the amount of signal data stored in a buffer RAM for temporarily storing a recording signal falls below an interruption set value, the recording operation on the disk is interrupted. Subsequently, when the amount of signal data stored in the buffer RAM increases to a resumption set value, a signal recorded on the disk before the interruption is reproduced. On the basis of the reproduced signal, the recording operation is resumed from a position where the recording is interrupted. The operation of resuming recording that is interrupted due to a shock is permitted. The operation of resuming recording after the interruption of the recording is started from a position that is before the position where the recording is interrupted.

摘要: An agglutination assay method for quantitatively determination of an analyte in a liquid sample using particles bearing an anti-analyte. The agglutination is conducted in a reagent layer composed of at least one binder selected from the group consisting of: a water-soluble polymer having a solution viscosity of 6 cP or less; a water-insoluble and water-swellable polymer; and gelatin having a molecular weight of 20,000 or less. A speedy quantitative determination of the analyte can be conveniently attained with high sensitivity. When the particle-labeled anti-analyte is contained in the reagent layer medium, the anti-analyte can be stored with higher stability in the dry state. A dry analysis element for enabling such analysis method is also provided.

摘要: An optical disk drive which reduces the number of motors used for drive operation is thereby simplified while shock resistance, vibration resistance, and productivity are improved. A turntable, a first motor for turntable drive, an optical pickup and drive mechanism, are provided on a drive base and a separate traverse base that floats on the drive base. A loading drive mechanism drives a disk loading mechanism. A second motor can be driven in forward and reverse to supply drive power to the loading drive mechanism and a pickup drive mechanism. A drive power transfer path switching mechanism is used to switch the path through which drive power from the second motor is transferred to supply power to the loading drive mechanism and pickup drive mechanism. By continuously driving the second motor in one direction, moving the optical pickup, raising or lowering the turntable, and transporting a disk can be accomplished in this sequence substantially continuously; by reversing the direction of motor drive, these operations can be accomplished substantially continuously in reverse direction in reverse sequence.

摘要: An optical disc device, having a traverse base includes an optical pickup and a feed motor that drives the optical pickup forward and backward from an inner circumferential position of an optical disc to an outer circumferential position thereof. This device comprises a loading device for transferring an optical disc from the exterior of the device body onto the traverse base, and a loading driving device for driving the loading device by using the driving of the feed motor. The feed motor can move the optical pickup for signal reproduction and eject the optical disc to the exterior of the device, thereby reducing the number of motors used in the device to provide a more inexpensive optical disc device.

摘要: An optical disc drive apparatus including a main tray having a stack of subtrays mounted thereon and movable between withdrawn and inserted positions. When the main tray is moved to the inserted position, the subtrays stacked thereon are held at a stand-by position and a selected one of the subtrays is ready to be drawn towards a loaded position so that an optical disc resting on the selected one of the subtrays can be clamped in position and optically read out. When an optical disc resting on one of the subtrays other than the uppermost subtray then held at the loaded position is desired to be removed or replaced, not only can such one of the subtray be returned from the loaded position to the stand-by position, the main tray is allowed to withdraw from the inserted position back to the withdrawn position carrying such one of the subtrays and the subtray or subtrays positioned immediately thereabove while leaving the subtray or the subtrays positioned above such one of the subtrays at the stand-by position, so that such one of the subtrays can readily be exposed to the outside for removal or replacement of the optical disc resting thereon.

摘要: A facsimile system with the body thereof usable as a subunit of a cordless telephone is disclosed. A parent unit is connected to the telephone line. A facsimile subunit is connected by radio to the parent unit. A telephone subunit is also connected by radio to the parent unit. A circuit included in the parent unit detects a signal indicating that the other party is in facsimile transmission mode. When a call signal is detected from the telephone line, the parent unit connects the line. When a CNG signal is detected, on the other hand, the parent unit connects the facsimile subunit by radio. In the case where a CNG signal is not detected, the parent unit starts the ring-up tone on the telephone subunit. An AGC circuit and a voice mute circuit are included in the parent unit.
