Abstract: An embodiment provides a display device including: a first substrate; a gate line disposed on the first substrate and extending in a first direction; a storage electrode line extending in the first direction on the same layer as the gate line and including a protrusion partially protruding in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; a data line insulated from the gate line and the storage electrode line and extending in the second direction; a drain electrode disposed on the same layer as the data line and including an extension portion overlapping the protrusion; a pixel electrode including a connecting portion electrically connected to the extension portion of the drain electrode; and a first spacer disposed on the pixel electrode and partially overlapping the protrusion of the storage electrode line, wherein the first spacer covers an edge of the connecting portion of the pixel electrode in the first direction.

Abstract: A display device including: a substrate; a gate line disposed on the substrate to transmit a gate signal; a first reference voltage line spaced apart from the gate line to transmit a reference voltage; a second reference voltage line disposed on the gate line and the first reference voltage line and electrically connected to the first reference voltage line; an insulating layer disposed on the second reference voltage line; and a pixel electrode layer disposed on the insulating layer, wherein the pixel electrode layer includes a first pixel electrode having a first sub-pixel electrode disposed at a first side with respect to the gate line and a second sub-pixel electrode disposed at a second side opposite to the first side with respect to the gate line, and the second reference voltage line may overlap the first pixel electrode and may cross the first pixel electrode.

Abstract: A display device includes the following elements: a scan line lengthwise in a first direction; two data lines each lengthwise in a second direction; a transistor including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a gate electrode; and a sub-pixel electrode including a first stem, a second stem, a connector, a first protrusion, and a second protrusion. The first electrode is connected to one of the two data lines. The gate electrode is connected to the scan line. The first stem is lengthwise in the first direction and is connected through the second stem and the connector to the second electrode. The second stem is lengthwise in the second direction. The connector overlaps the second electrode.
