    Abstract: An electronic device includes: a first housing; a second housing movably coupled to the first housing; a third housing movably coupled to the second housing; a flexible display on at least a portion of the first housing, the second housing, and the third housing; at least one sensor; one or more electromagnets; at least one processor operatively coupled to the at least one sensor; and a memory operatively coupled to the at least one processor, wherein the memory stores instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to: detect, through the at least one sensor, a state change in at least one of first arrangement of the first housing with respect to the second housing or second arrangement of the third housing with respect to the second housing, and, based on the state change, control magnetism of at least one electromagnet among the one or more electromagnets.

    Abstract: According to the present disclosure an electronic device is disclosed comprising: a housing including a front surface, a rear surface facing the direction opposite to the front surface, and a side surface encompassing the space between the front surface and the rear surface; a display included in the housing and visible to the outside of the electronic device through the front surface; an optical sensor positioned between the display and the rear surface overlapping at least one region of the display when viewed from above the front surface, and including a light-emitting part and a light-receiving part; and a first partition positioned between the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part based on the electronic device having a first shape, and a second partition present between the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part based on the electronic device having a second shape transformed from the first shape, wherein a straight line connecting the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part is perpendicular to the direction in which the electronic device changes from the first shape to the second shape.

    Abstract: An audio output device is provided. The audio output device includes a housing, an audio output unit outputting audio data, a first contact sensor configured to detect a contact of an external object, a second contact sensor configured to detect a contact of the external object, a proximity sensor configured to detect a proximity of the external object within a predetermined distance, and a processor operatively connected to the audio output unit, the first contact sensor, the second contact sensor, and the proximity sensor. The processor may be configured to execute a wearing detection mode of the audio output device, to determine the contact of the external object through the first contact sensor, to determine the contact of the external object through the second contact sensor, to determine the proximity of the external object through the proximity sensor, and to determine that the audio output device is in a state worn by the external object.

    Abstract: An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing including a front surface, a rear surface opposite to the front surface, and a space between the front surface and the rear surface, a display located inside the housing and viewed through the front surface of the housing to the outside of the electronic device, a support member supporting the display by protruding from the side surface toward the inside of the housing, an optical sensor including a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit wherein the optical sensor is located on a rear surface of the display and overlaps at least one area of the display when viewed from top of the front surface; and a partition wall member formed of an elastic material wherein the partition wall member is located between the display and the optical sensor, and at least a part region of the partition wall member is located between the light emitting unit and the light receiving unit to separate the light emitting unit and the light receiving unit.

    Abstract: A portable electronic device includes a foldable housing; a display; an illuminance sensor; a state detection sensor; a memory; and a processor. Based on data received from the state detection sensor, the portable electronic device is recognized to be in the folded state. Responsive to the portable electronic device being in a calibration trigger state which includes the folded state, a first image is displayed in a sensor area of a first display area located on the illuminance sensor, and a second image is displayed in an area of the second display area facing the sensor area. An illuminance value is calculated based on data received from the illuminance sensor while the first image and the second image are displayed, and then compared to a reference value stored in the memory to calculate a calibration value for calibrating measured illuminance values of the illuminance sensor.

    Abstract: A foldable electronic device is provided. The foldable electronic device includes a foldable housing that can be fold/unfolded with respect to a folding shaft, a display that is visible through one surface of the foldable housing, a photosensor which is arranged inside the foldable housing and which includes a light-receiving unit for measuring the intensity of light emitted at the electronic device, and at least one processor operationally connected to the photosensor and the display, wherein the at least one processor is configured to acquire an illuminance value by using the photosensor, acquire data related to the incident angle of the light, emitted on the electronic device, by using the photosensor, correct the illuminance value based on the data related to the incident angle of the light, determine the brightness of a first part of the display based on the corrected illuminance value, and determine the brightness of a second part of the display based on the illuminance value and the angle formed by the foldable housing.
