摘要: A foldable electronic device is provided. The foldable electronic device includes a foldable housing that can be fold/unfolded with respect to a folding shaft, a display that is visible through one surface of the foldable housing, a photosensor which is arranged inside the foldable housing and which includes a light-receiving unit for measuring the intensity of light emitted at the electronic device, and at least one processor operationally connected to the photosensor and the display, wherein the at least one processor is configured to acquire an illuminance value by using the photosensor, acquire data related to the incident angle of the light, emitted on the electronic device, by using the photosensor, correct the illuminance value based on the data related to the incident angle of the light, determine the brightness of a first part of the display based on the corrected illuminance value, and determine the brightness of a second part of the display based on the illuminance value and the angle formed by the foldable housing.

摘要: In embodiments, an electronic device may include a housing, a display panel, and an optical sensor module. The display panel is disposed in an inner space of the housing and is at least partially visible from an outside through the housing, the display including a display area, a first non-display area disposed adjacent to at least a peripheral portion of the display area, and a second non-display area disposed adjacent to at least a peripheral portion of the first non-display area. The optical sensor module is disposed in the inner space at least partially overlapping the display panel, and includes a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB), a light emitting structure disposed on the FPCB at least partially overlapping the first non-display area when the display panel is viewed from above, and a light receiving structure disposed on the FPCB at least partially overlapping the display area when the display panel is viewed from above. The display area has a first transmittance, and the first non-display area has a second transmittance greater than the first transmittance.

摘要: According to the present disclosure an electronic device is disclosed comprising: a housing including a front surface, a rear surface facing the direction opposite to the front surface, and a side surface encompassing the space between the front surface and the rear surface; a display included in the housing and visible to the outside of the electronic device through the front surface; an optical sensor positioned between the display and the rear surface overlapping at least one region of the display when viewed from above the front surface, and including a light-emitting part and a light-receiving part; and a first partition positioned between the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part based on the electronic device having a first shape, and a second partition present between the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part based on the electronic device having a second shape transformed from the first shape, wherein a straight line connecting the light-emitting part and the light-receiving part is perpendicular to the direction in which the electronic device changes from the first shape to the second shape.

摘要: Various embodiments of the disclosure relate to a proximity-illuminance sensor and an electronic device including the same to increase the accuracy of the illuminance sensor and addressing crosstalk issues. According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises a transparent member, a scattering member disposed under a portion of the transparent member to scatter light incident at a designated angle from an outside of the electronic device through the transparent member, a light receiving element disposed under the portion and configured to obtain scattered light which is scattered by the scattering member from at least a part of incident light, and a control circuit configured to determine a brightness of the incident light based on, at least, the scattered light obtained through the light receiving element. The electronic device may be implemented in various manners according to embodiments of the disclosure.

摘要: According to an embodiment, an electronic device may include an illuminance sensor including a first modulator obtaining a first signal for first illuminance values during a first integration time and a second modulator obtaining a second signal for second illuminance values during a second integration time, and a processor. The processor may be configured to calculate the first illuminance values and the second illuminance values based on the first and second signals, determine that an ambient light source is a flickering light source based on the second illuminance values, if obtaining display parameter information associated with an image output through the display, compensate for the first illuminance values based on the display parameter information and adjust a brightness value of the display based on the compensated first illuminance values, and if failing to obtain the display parameter information, adjust the brightness value of the display based on the second illuminance values.

The memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to control the electronic device to: detect an turn-on event of the display, turn on the camera sensor to acquire the external illuminance using the camera sensor based on the display being turned on, acquire preview image information for a specified time through the camera sensor, turn off the camera sensor, acquire the external illuminance using an exposure time and a brightness value based on the acquired preview image information, and control a luminance of the display based on the external illuminance.
