摘要: A boiling refrigerant type cooling system to suppress overshoot upon start of heat generation and realize stable start of boiling. In the boiling refrigerant type cooling system, a metal boiling heat transfer unit has a base in thermal contact with a heat generating body. The boiling heat transfer unit is in contact with a liquid refrigerant. The boiling heat transfer unit has plural parallel tunnels communicating with the outside via holes or gaps under its surface, a groove deeper than a tunnel diameter formed through all the tunnels in an orthogonal direction to the tunnels, and a cover plate on the groove.

摘要: The present invention relates to an electronic device and an electronic device operating control method in which the state of the fuel cell can be accurately determined. In cases where the voltage generated by the fuel cell 12 acquired from the voltage detection part 14 is greater than a specified voltage reference value V, the microcomputer 11 causes the display part 18 to display that the fuel cell 12 is normal, while in cases where this generated voltage is smaller than the voltage reference value V, the microcomputer 11 causes the residual fuel amount detection part 13 to detect the residual fuel amount. In cases where the residual fuel amount is smaller than a specified fuel reference value F, the microcomputer 11 causes the display part 18 to display that the fuel is insufficient, while in cases where the residual fuel amount is greater than the fuel reference value F, the microcomputer 11 causes the oxidizing agent concentration detection part 15 to detect the oxidizing agent concentration of the fuel cell 12. In cases where the oxidizing agent concentration is smaller than a specified oxidizing agent concentration reference value Z, the microcomputer 11 causes the display part 18 to display that the oxidizing agent is insufficient, while in cases where the oxidizing agent concentration is greater than the oxidizing agent concentration reference value Z, the microcomputer 11 causes the display part 18 to display that the fuel cell 12 is abnormal. The present invention can be applied to cameras.

摘要: A visual line detection camera includes a detector to detect the visual line position of a photographer, an area determination device to determine the fixation area using an equation containing compensation terms unique to the photographer in conjunction with the results of detection accomplished by the detector, a display to display the area corresponding to the fixation area obtained by the area determination device, a fixation area selector enabling the fixation area to be altered by external operation, and a compensating factor adjustment device to alter the compensation terms in the equation when the area determined by the equation and the fixation area after alteration are different as a result of alteration by the fixation area selector. This structure enables the camera to adapt to different photographers in accordance with different photographer physical attributes, providing a visual line detection camera with a high degree of reliability.

摘要: A multi-function camera having a display unit in which the different operational modes are displayed in different colors. The operational modes are controlled by manipulation members on the exterior surface of the camera. The manipulation members are color coordinated with the respective operational modes. As a result, a photographer can quickly consult the display unit to find out the operational mode that the multi-function camera is operating in. Furthermore, the color coordination also makes it easier for a photographer to set the multi-function camera in the proper operational mode.

摘要: The cooling system includes: a frame; a plurality of electronic devices disposed in the frame and operating or functioning independently from each other; fans disposed in the frame and supplying cooling air to the electronic devices; a temperature acquiring portion for acquiring the temperature of the cooling air; an air-flow resistance adjusting portion for adjusting the air-flow resistance to the cooling air; and a controller for controlling the fans and the each air-flow resistance adjusting portion. The controller determines each target cooling air volume required for cooling each electronic device to a predetermined temperature based on temperature information acquired by the temperature acquiring portion and heat generation information on each electronic device, controls each air-flow resistance adjusting portion to set the volume of cooling air to each target cooling air volume, and performs the drive control of the fans to set the volume of cooling air to the minimum necessary.

摘要: A user-friendly camera with a visual line detection system simplifies the operation by making manual selection possible for establishing an auto focus region directly without going through time consuming procedures, even when the camera is selecting an auto focus region based on visual line information. An auto selection mode, a visual line selection mode, and a manual selection mode are available for establishing an auto focus region with mode selection being made by an auto focus region switching system. When selection of the auto focus region is being executed in the visual line selection mode, signals from the auto focus region manual selection system may be entered so that the manual selection input takes priority and the intention of the photographer becomes the priority. The change of mode is temporarily executed easily during the visual line selection mode operation.

摘要: A camera with a visual line position detection device capable of highly accurate determinations even when diopter adjustment is accomplished after initial completion of correction of the visual line position determining system. The camera includes a screen to form a subject image, a pentagonal prism provided inside the finder, a visual line position detection device equipped with a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit to detect the visual line position, and a diopter adjustment lens placed on the photographer's side of the pentagonal prism. The diopter adjustment lens is displaced after the correction of the visual line position detection device, and a correction coefficient needed to compute the visual line position on the screen obtained during the correction of the visual line position detection device is changed according to the displacement amount of the diopter adjustment lens.
