    Abstract: [Object] To enable management related to transmission and reception of data to be performed while reducing the load on the core network.[Solution] Provided is an apparatus including: an acquiring unit configured to acquire data destined for a second terminal device which is transmitted from a first terminal device to a base station of a cellular system; and a control unit configured to control transmission of the data in a manner that the data is transferred from the first terminal device to the second terminal device without going through a gateway configured to perform data transfer in the cellular system. The control unit controls transmission of information related to the data to the gateway or a specific node, and the specific node is a node configured to receive, from the gateway, information related to another data transferred via the gateway.
