Abstract:
A hydrocarbon fuel composition which is suitable for sue in a fuel cell apparatus and an internal combustion engine comprises at least one saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon having 4 to 12 carbon atoms, and is characterised by an olefin content of less than 20% by volume, an aromatics content of less than 42% by volume, a final boiling point (fop) of less than 215° C., and a sulphur content of less than 20 ppm.
Abstract:
An intervertebral implant and associated method. The intervertebral implant can include a first component having a first articulating surface and a first bone engagement surface for engaging a first vertebra, and a second component having a second articulating surface and a second bone engagement surface for engaging a second vertebra adjacent to the first vertebra. The first and second articulating surfaces articulate with each other for substantially replicating a natural spinal movement including torsion, extension/flexion, and lateral bending. The first and second bone engagement surfaces define an outer surface substantially shaped as an envelope of two intersecting cylinders.
Abstract:
A fuel cut-off control system (12) for a vehicle (10) is provided. This system (12) includes one or more crash sensors (24) for detecting a fuel cut-off event and for generating a crash signal. These sensors (24) are coupled to a controller (26) and are utilized for transmitting the crash signal thereto. This controller (26) is coupled to a fuel supply system (14) and is intended to temporarily disable the fuel supply system (14) when the controller (26) receives the crash signal. The controller (26) is also coupled to an indicator mechanism (28) and is intended to transmit a cut-off notification signal to the indicator mechanism (28). This indicator mechanism (28) can then display a cut-off notification message to an occupant of the vehicle (10). Finally, the controller (26) also has a reset mechanism (30) coupled thereto. This reset mechanism (30) is intended to be manually operated by the occupant for the purpose of returning the fuel supply system (14) to an operational condition.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a composition comprising: i) at least one compound of formula (I): wherein R1 and R2 are independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, unsubstituted or substituted C1-19 hydrocarbyl or a group of formula (II): wherein Q is a bond or an unsubstituted or substituted hydrocarbyl group; wherein R3 is selected from a group consisting of hydrogen and unsubstituted or substituted C1-18 hydrocarbyl; wherein the R1—C—R2 backbone is from 5 to 20 atoms in length; wherein each A and B is independently an unsubstituted or substituted unsaturated cyclic hydrocarbyl group; and wherein n is an integer from 0 to 10; and ii) a diluent or carrier; wherein the compound(s) of formula (I) is present in an amount sufficient to provide, at −30° C., at least 1 wt % of iron, based on the weight of the composition.
Abstract:
A computer in which an expansion card cage assembly is mounted in the computer chassis. The expansion card cage assembly includes a wall extending parallel to the chassis wall, a riser card mounted relative to the wall of the cage assembly and having a connector adapted to engage the connector of the motherboard, and at least one expansion card connected to the riser card. A lever is provided on the cage assembly wall and is adapted to engage the chassis wall to quick-detachably connect the cage assembly to the chassis.
Abstract:
A computer system includes a chassis having a biased slider device mounted thereon. The slider device includes a plurality of connectors positioned in openings in the chassis. When the slider is in a first position, the connectors are positioned in the openings. The slider is movable to a second position removing the connectors from the openings. A cover is releasably mounted on the chassis so that cover interlock members insert into the openings engaging the connectors in the first position and disengaging from the connectors in the second position.
Abstract:
A computer system includes a plate for mounting in a chassis. The plate slides into the chassis and is retained therein by a snap-in connection. An interlock device is provided for interlocking the plate and chassis. The device includes a first portion having a first end engaged with the plate and a second portion connected to a second end. The second portion extends angularly relative to the first portion and is engaged with the plate. An interlock member extends from the first portion and through an opening formed in the plate for engagement with the chassis. A pinch and pull motion removes the plate from the chassis.
Abstract:
An enclosure for electronic equipment, such as a computer, and one or more support members mechanically attached to the enclosure. The bottom plate of the enclosure defines a pair of spaced slots for receiving each support member. One end of each support member is adapted to engage the surface on which the equipment is to be supported, a pair of spaced posts project from the other end of each support member, and a head is provided on the end of each post. Each support member is mounted to the enclosure by inserting the heads in the ends of the respective slots and rotating the support member to move the heads and the posts of the support member to the other ends of their respective slots which locks the support member to the bottom plate without protruding into the interior of the enclosure.
Abstract:
A product including a shipping box containing a plurality of sheet-material dispensers. The sheet-material dispensers enclose a stack of sheets formed from a sheet-material. The dispenser includes a top, a bottom, a first side wall, and a second sidewall. The first and second sidewall comprising either a triangle, truncated triangle, or a trapezoid. Two or more sheet material dispensers are interrelated within the shipping box to form a substantially parallelepiped shape for efficient shipping.
Abstract:
An apparatus to evaluate an illuminated panel comprises a camera to acquire a real-time digital color image of the illuminated panel and a stored digital color image of a standard illuminated panel. A monitor is provided to alternately display the real-time image and the stored image to detect any differences in the illuminated panel.
