Abstract: A switching coaxial jack has at least first, second, and third coaxial center conductors, a switch, and a cam. The switch has a first position that electrically couples the first and second center conductors to one another and a second position that electrically couples the first and third center conductors to one another. A cam is responsive to a plug inserted into the jack to apply a lateral force against the plug and/or to operate the switch between its first and second positions.

Abstract: An electrical interconnect for a solid-oxide fuel cell stack assembly, including a novel sintering paste and an improved manufacturing process for an anode and cathode electrical contacts is disclosed. On the anode side, the paste contains a metallic oxide such as NiO, and an amount of sacrificial pore-forming particles, such as carbon particles or polymer spheres, which are vaporized during sintering of the paste, resulting in a very porous connection having good electrical conductivity and good adhesion. A preferred level of pore-former in the paste is about 40 volume percent. On the cathode side, the paste contains a noble metal such as for example, gold, platinum, palladium or rhodium, and an amount of the sacrificial pore-forming particles. The paste may be applied to the surfaces in a grid pattern or, because the resulting contact is porous after sintering, it may be applied as a continuous layer.

Abstract: A system and interface for trading financial instruments. The system consists of an intermediary computer system that is operable to communicate with one or more trader terminals utilizing either a private line, a network or the Internet. The intermediary computer system is comprised of one or more processors and storage media. The intermediary computer system communicates with trader terminals and displays to the trader terminals a listing of financial instruments, and information related to such financial instruments, that are available for trading. The intermediary computer system periodically updates the option adjusted price of financial instruments as to provide the traders with a time period in which the price will remain stable and during which time the traders can confidently execute orders based on the then available price. A timer, which is constantly visible to traders using the electronic trading system, displays the amount of time remaining until the displayed adjusted prices will be updated. The intermediary computer system is also operable to communicate directly with selected traders or groups of traders in the form of directed messages to the trader terminals.
