    摘要: A self-aligning stuffing box having a spherical joint between the upper and lower portions of the housing permits universal movement of the upper portion relative to the lower portion to permit a rod to pass through the bore if the axis of the rod is misaligned relative to the axis of the bore in each of the upper and lower housing portions. An energized seal in the upper housing resides at or below the spherical joint due to a downwardly depending central portion of the upper housing which extends into a recess formed in the lower housing permitting the height of the stuffing box to be relatively short. A second seal is positioned above the first seal and may be spaced sufficiently above the first seal to permit a flapper valve to be installed between the seals. The flapper valve is mounted through a port in the upper housing which is accessible without disassembly of the stuffing box, the seals or the wellhead.

    摘要: A client-based web server application verification and testing system that requires no technical training, yet provides effective and efficient automated testing. The invention facilitates the rapid generation of test cases for a web site, and the automated execution of those test cases via distributed computing. The transitions through a web site are mapped onto a tree control to exploit user familiarity with a dual pane graphical interface and the drag/drop operation on tree controls. The tree is populated primarily by an autonomous spider exploring the site. Complex sequences requiring form inputs are added by recording sample sequences and then allowing the user to prune from all possible permutations of those samples. The export and import of form input data to a spreadsheet provides additional flexibility. Both the exploration and validation tasks may be distributed to a network of computers.

    摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product for performing dynamic Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) endpoint mapping is presented. At least one on net endpoint of a VOIP call is determined. An endpoint data structure is used to store, for each on net endpoint of the call, a key and at least one of an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the end point, a phone number associated with the endpoint, and/or a display name associated with the endpoint. The endpoint data structure is used to correlate call legs across a network. Heuristics of the VOIP call are determined, the heuristics including information relating to the main source call leg and the main destination call leg.

    摘要: The invention is a tester that uses a capacitive probe to test whether components that have multiple power and/or ground pins are correctly oriented relative to the signal-pin tracks on a circuit board. The tester connects, to the signal-pin track to which the pin under test is connected, a test-signal source that supplies to that pin a relatively high-voltage test signal. The tester actively guards the pin by applying to the remaining component pins, through the tester scanning system and its internal resistance, a signal that has the same voltage as that sensed by the capacitive probe. If the component is oriented such that one of the multiple power or ground pins is connected to the signal-pin track to which the test signal is applied, the test signal appears also at the other power or ground pins, since these pins are interconnected by a low impedance path through the component. The signals on these interconnected pins are capacitively coupled through the component lead frame to the capacitive probe, which senses a much higher voltage than it does when the test signal appears at a single signal pin. Accordingly, the tester determines if a power or ground pin is connected to the signal-pin track by comparing the voltage at the capacitive probe with a predetermined threshold. The tester may also determine how much the component is misoriented by testing each of the pins and comparing the measured voltages with rotation patterns, which are determined by mapping the thresholds associated with the pins of a properly oriented component to the pin locations to which the pins may be rotated if the component were incorrectly oriented.
