摘要： A map update system includes: a navigation apparatus that provides guidance from a current position to a destination having been set based upon map data stored therein and downloads various types of information requested by a user; and a providing apparatus that provides the various types of information to be downloaded at the navigation apparatus, and: the providing apparatus transmits the various types of information and update information related to an update of map data to the navigation apparatus in response to a download request transmitted from the navigation apparatus; and the navigation apparatus issues a notice related to the update of the map data based upon the update information transmitted from the providing apparatus, while downloading the various types of information.

摘要： A disclosed base station includes a communication unit configured to receive from a mobile station a first report signal including base station specification information specifying a base station, reception quality information indicating reception quality of a signal received from the specified base station, and change request information requesting to change communication quality between the mobile station and the specified base station; and an automatic area control unit configured to determine whether the base station is specified by the base station specification information, to obtain location information indicating the location of the mobile station if the base station is specified by the base station specification information, and to change at least one base station parameter based on the reception quality information and the location information to change the reception quality at the location of the mobile station.

The substrate processing apparatus for processing a substrate while supplying a fluid to the substrate includes a substrate holder for holding and rotating the substrate, and a holder suction unit for sucking the fluid from the substrate holder. The substrate holding apparatus includes a plurality of rollers which are brought into contact with an edge portion of a substrate so as to hold and rotate the substrate, and at least one moving mechanism for moving the rollers.

摘要： A substrate cleaning apparatus for cleaning a rotating substrate has a scrub cleaning tool for cleaning the substrate by bringing the cleaning tool into contact with the substrate, a liquid jet spray nozzle for cleaning the substrate by yet-spraying a cleaning liquid from the nozzle to the substrate, and a swing mechanism for simultaneously swinging both of the scrub cleaning tool and the liquid jet spray nozzle on and above the substrate. The substrate cleaning apparatus also has a cleaning tool vertical driving mechanism for moving at least the cleaning tool from a position where the cleaning tool is in contact with a surface of the substrate to another position where the cleaning liquid jet-sprayed from the nozzle is applied to the cleaning tool, by vertically moving the cleaning tool.
