    摘要: A protective device for eyes, for example, goggles of a shield, includes a double lens member, a frame member and a face fixation member. The double lens member includes a front lens, a back lens and a gasket. The front lens and the back lens are made of polycarbonate resins, polyurethane resins, polyester resins or polyamide resins. The front lens and the back lens are disposed in parallel with the gasket therebetween in order to form a space surrounded with the front lens, the back lens and the gasket. This device is excellent in the antifogging property in the double lens.

    摘要: An image pickup apparatus has an image pickup device including an imaging section, in which signal charges read out from plural photosensitive cells are vertically transferred over vertical transfer paths and the transferred signal charges are in turn horizontally transferred over a horizontal transfer path, which has a branching section for assigning the transferred signal charges to plural output channels, i.e. plural horizontal transfer paths provided at the end of the horizontal transfer path. A temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of the image pickup device is provided on the imaging section, and a temperature-induced drift compensator corrects a transfer error of signal charges in the image pickup device. The compensator modifies transfer error correction based on the detected temperature. The image pickup apparatus can thus substantially reduce an assignment error even when the temperature of the image pickup device changes.

    摘要: A solid-state image pick-up device is configured for more effectively reducing dark current of an interlace scanning type of CCD so that electrodes connected to transfer shift gates are sequentially arranged on two adjacent vertical transfer paths and are driven such that signal charges are prevented from staying longer in the vertical transfer path below the electrodes connected to the transfer shift gates. This prevents signal charges from waiting longer for vertical transfer during a horizontal transfer period, thereby reducing dark current otherwise caused in the vertical transfer paths.

    摘要: A solid-state image pickup apparatus selects, in a first image pickup circumstance in which dark current is liable to occur in vertical transfer paths of an array of photo-sensors, a first transfer mode in which the potential well capacity in the vertical transfer paths is relatively small, and, in a second image pickup circumstance in which the dark current is small in quantity, a second transfer mode which is greater in potential well capacity than the first transfer mode. As a positive voltage applied to the read-out gates of the photo-sensors, a first voltage mode indicating a relatively low positive voltage that suppresses impact ionization is set in the first image pickup circumstance, and, a second voltage mode indicating a positive voltage higher than in the first voltage mode is set in the second image pickup circumstance so as to cause the impact ionization.

The digital camera includes: a dark current correcting unit that performs dark current correction based on a linear function for correction in order to correct a dark current; an OB average calculating unit that calculates an average of upper OB signals acquired from the upper OBs by imaging and an average of lower OB signals acquired from the lower OBs by the imaging; and a correcting linear function generating unit that generates the linear function for correction based on the average of the upper OB signals, the average of the lower OB signals, and the number of PDs.
