摘要： A recording apparatus, a recording method, and a recording medium, which allows a search operation based on a second segment information signal representing finely divided segments of a recording signal even in a player which can perform only a searching operation of a first segment information signal representing large segments of the recording signal. When a change of the second segment information signal of a signal to be recorded is detected, the first segment information signal being formed is updated and the first segment information signal is recorded together with an audio signal. That is, the second segment information signal of the signal to be recorded is converted into the first segment information signal and recorded together with the audio signal.

摘要： A magnetic head suspension for a magnetic memory apparatus includes a load arm having a head arm portion and a carriage arm portion that is thicker than the head arm portion. The load arm may include a first plate as the head arm portion, and a second plate attached to the first plate as the carriage arm portion. A magnetic head slider attaching part is gimbaled to the first plate, and is formed from the material of the first plate. The first plate is provided with a loading bend in an intermediate portion thereof to provide an added pushing force to the magnetic head toward the magnetic disk. A conductor layer is patterned in the underside of the first plate, to transfer signals to and from the head.

摘要： A plate for a silent chain has a side punched into a forked shape for engagement with a sprocket. The forked side of the plate has inner engaging surfaces opposing each other, outer engaging surfaces, and an arcuate leg-side end surface connecting the inner engaging surfaces. The leg-side end surface, on which stress is likely to be concentrated, has a shear face tissue along at least 70% of the thickness of the plate. A silent chain having such a plate has a high plate fatigue strength and enhanced durability and reliability, and can be manufactured at a low cost.
