    摘要: An automatic weight detecting device is provided with a platform on which an object to be measured is placed, a supporting shaft for supporting the platform is rotatable and smoothly movable in the supporting direction. A driving motor rotates the supporting shaft, and an elastic member supports the supporting shaft. A load detecting device converts the load of the object, transmitted in the supporting direction of the rotatable supporting shaft through the elastic member into a given electrically physical amount and a weight detecting circuit integrates to obtain the average of the electrically physical amount while the shaft rotates, so that the weight of the object is detected.

    摘要: An intraocular lens of the present invention has a substantially circular or elliptical optical lens portion made of a soft material, and an arm-shaped support arm portion attached to outer peripheral edges of this optical lens portion, and out of the peripheral edges of the optical lens portion that are contiguous to both sides in a width direction of a root of the support arm portion, at least one outer peripheral edge has a portion recessed inward from the convex curve. Thus, there is provided a soft intraocular lens that can be inserted into an eye from a further smaller incision, without damaging an optical function as much as possible.

    摘要: An intraocular lens insertion device (1) includes a main body (2), an operational portion (3) provided on an end (2a) of the main body (2), a knock mechanism (4) for moving the operational portion (3) forward and backward with respect to the main body (2), and a cartridge (5) attached to the other end (2b) of the main body (2) and serving as an insertion tube. The device is constructed, as a whole, such that the knock mechanism (4) moves the operational portion (3) repeatedly forward and backward so that an intraocular lens (6) placed in the cartridge (5) can be pushed out stepwise. The knock mechanism (4) is structured so as to move the operational portion (3) pushed forward toward a backward direction and automatically return it to an original position prior to the same being pushed forward.

    摘要: There is provided an intraocular lens insertion device capable of easily positioning a circumference of an optical portion of an intraocular lens with respect to a distal end of a plunger. An intraocular lens insertion device 1 comprises: a cartridge 3 having a lens placement section 16 in which an intraocular lens 2 is to be placed; an insertion device main body 4 having a plunger 5 for pushing out the intraocular lens 2 with the cartridge 3 being attached to the insertion device main body 4; and a deforming means 6 for deforming the lens placement section 16. A slit 21 is formed on the lens placement section 16, and the deforming means 6 deforms the lens placement section 16 in a diameter-decreasing direction thereof when attaching the cartridge 3 to the insertion device main body 4. In this way, the intraocular lens 2 is settled at a predetermined position in the lens placement section 16, thus making it possible to position a circumference of an optical portion 2a of the intraocular lens 2 with respect to a distal end portion of the plunger 5 .

    摘要: There is disclosed herein an automatic heating appliance for controlling heating of an object in response to operation of instruction keys and on the basis of the weight of an object to be heated. The appliance includes therein a heating chamber for housing the object, a heater provided on or in the heating chamber for heating the object placed therein, and a turntable provided in the heating chamber for keeping thereon the object during heating. Also included in the appliance are a weight detector for obtaining first weight data in response to the object being placed on the turntable and a temperature compensator for obtaining a second weight data in response to the object being placed thereon, the temperature compensator substantially having the same temperature characteristic as the weight detector. A control unit of the appliance is responsive to the first and second weight data in order to remove an error component due to variation of the characteristic of the weight detector by variation of temperature in accordance with the result of comparison between the first and second weight data so as to determine a weight resulting from only the object. The control unit controls the heating of the object in accordance with variation of the determined object weight.
