    摘要: A quality of service profile for a mobile communication subscriber unit is determined and includes one or more mobile-specific desired quality of service parameters. Actual values for the service parameter(s) is(are) determined and fed back to a link quality controller to determine whether they are in an acceptable range or relationship with corresponding actual quality of service parameter values. A modulation and/or coding scheme for transmitting the information over the radio link is selected or adjusted based on whether the desired and actual quality of service parameters are in an acceptable range or acceptable relationship. A combined “desired” quality of service parameter using the first and second quality of service parameters (or more if desired) may be determined. A combined “actual” quality of service parameter using first and second actual quality service parameter values is determined. Those combined desired and actual quality of service parameters are compared to determine whether they are in an acceptable range or relationship. The modulation or coding scheme (or both) is (are) selected or adjusted based thereon.

    摘要: For fault testing in a digital system, a processor unit is made available from other activities and the logical units to be tested are set to a predetermined state. An output response analyze is activated and the processor unit generates a set of stimuli, influencing the appropriate logical units. The output response analyzer collects responses to the stimuli at different nodes in the digital system and creates signatures from them. The signals are verified and if a fault is noticed, this error is noticed. The present state of the processor and other logical units are stored in a storage device prior to the test and recovered after the testing is finished. This fault testing can be performed both at chip and board levels, and on systems with several units.

Each one of the pieces of control equipment comprises a current controller (CC). The current controller of the second converter is supplied with a second current reference value (IOL2) and a current margin (IOM). The control equipment of the second converter comprises a function-forming member (11), which in dependence on an applied measured value (UD) of the direct voltage forms the current margin such that, when the direct voltage exceeds a first preselected voltage level (Udf), it assumes a first value (IOMf) and, when the direct voltage is lower than the first voltage level, it assumes a second value (IOMs), the magnitude of the second value being greater than the magnitude of the first value.

    摘要: A method for detecting a malfunction in a cell of a telecommunication network is disclosed. The cell is adapted to serve a plurality of user devices identified by user identities and to handle signaling and/or data traffic between the network and the user devices. A lack of traffic is detected in the cell. Further, at least one user identity which identifies a user device is selected. The selected user device is served by the cell. Then a paging message is sent to the user device which is identified by the at least one selected user identity. Finally the malfunction of the cell is validated in case no response message is sent by the user device to said paging message.

    摘要: An arrangement for controlling the electric power transmission in a high voltage direct current, HVDC, power transmission system includes at least one HVDC transmission or distribution line for carrying direct current, DC, and the arrangement includes an apparatus connectable to the HVDC transmission or distribution line, the apparatus being arranged to control the direct current of the HVDC transmission or distribution line by introducing a DC voltage in series with the HVDC transmission or distribution line. When being in the conducting mode, the bypass device is arranged to conduct direct current of the HVDC transmission or distribution line to electrically bypass the apparatus. A HVDC power transmission system includes at least one arrangement of the above-mentioned sort. A method for protecting an apparatus against over-current or overvoltage occurrences, the apparatus being included in an arrangement of the above-mentioned sort.
