摘要:
There is disclosed a structure of a matrix display unit having a matrix display panel with mutually perpendicular groups of signal and scaning electrodes and a wiring board mounting thereon a driver circuit having output terminals disposed on two marginal edges of the wiring board. At least one of the marginal edges is bent closely toward the matrix display panel. Terminal electrodes of one of the groups of the matrix electrodes are electrically connected to the bent marginal edge in confronting relation through an electrically conductive anisotropic member, terminal electrodes of the other group of the matrix electrodes are electrically connected to the other marginal edge through a bent electrically conductive anisotropy member or a flexible wiring sheet.

Disclosed is an electret for use in regeneration of bones which is essentially made of polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon), polyhexafluoropropylene (FEP Teflon), polyester (Mylar), polypropylene and other substances having high molecular weight, or carnauba wax, bees wax, rosin and other waxy or resinous substances having lower molecular weight. The electret according to this invention when applied to broken bones will expedite the callus formation on bones.

In a color liquid-crystal display apparatus using mosaic arrangements, the same color of picture elements which are driven by the same signal electrode are alternately arranged right and left. Accordingly, all that is necessary is that the same color of picture signal is applied upon the same signal electrode in spite of the mosaic arrangement. Thus, a circuit which switches a color image signal of an analog line memory is unnecessary, so that the driving circuit is extremely simplified.

A curved electrode pattern is included within a liquid crystal color display cell to compensate for the differences of the thickness of the liquid crystal color display cell across one of the segmented electrode patterns, thereby providing a uniform color indication in the segmented electrode patterns. A sound color display representative of a sound intensity level is indicated in the liquid crystal color display cell to show the expanse and the transition of the sound intensity level as a color change in said liquid crystal color display cell in each of said segmented electrode patterns.

A multi-layer, matrix type liquid crystal display panel is provided with an electrode structure which prevents the display dots from being overlapped with each other. Each of display patterns is provided through the utilization of a necessary number of line electrodes and a necessary number of column electrodes. According to the present invention, at least a necessary number of the line electrodes per display pattern unit are disposed as a single family in the front side cell or in the rear side cell. The respective families of the line electrodes are disposed alternatively in the front cell or in the rear cell, keeping the display dots within the same display pattern from being overlapped with respect to each other.

An electrode structure on a matrix type liquid crystal display panel includes M column electrodes and N row electrodes both of which cross each other at a right angle to define picture elements via a layer of liquid crystal material. The matrix shaped electrode structure is such that a third picture element C (X.sub.m ', X.sub.n ') is located between a first picture element A (X.sub.m, Y.sub.n) and a second picture element B (X.sub.m+1, Y.sub.n+1), wherein 1.ltoreq.m.ltoreq.M and 1.ltoreq.n.ltoreq.N, thus enhancing resolution in vertical and horizontal directions. A diamond shape is exemplary of the possible shapes of the picture elements wherein each pair of the diagonally disposed corners are connected to that of their adjacent elements.

A method is disclosed for forming an electrode pattern which is free of erosion, separation of a wiring pattern from a substrate, etc., through the use of a lift-up method, which comprises the steps of: etching a transparent, electrically conductive film deposited on a major surface of the substrate for the formation of the transparent electrode pattern; overlaying the whole of the major surface of the substrate with a layer of photoresist; removing a portion of said photoresist layer in the metal electrode pattern; coating substantially the entire major surface of the substrate with a layer of metal electrode material; and removing the remaining photoresist layer with the aid of a resist remover thereby forming the metal electrode pattern.
