摘要: A system determines real-time locations of railcars in a railroad environment. Railcars are equipped with at least four RFID tags. A RFID reader at a fixed location at every track branch in the environment reads the RFID tags. Railcar locations are updated for the railcars by determining the branches on which the railcars are located.

摘要: Four sets of shower heads 100, 200, 300, 400 are located in a surface modifying chamber of a surface modifying apparatus, and each shower head 100, 200, 300, 400 has surface modifier piping including a plurality of spray nozzles. The nozzles are arranged such that showers of an aqueous ozone solution injected from every adjacent two nozzles will contact the resin molded product and partly overlap one another. The phases in position of the nozzles can be offset a half-pitch or staggered with the staggered arrangement of the nozzles serving to compensate for any insufficient oxidation reaction to achieve uniform surface modification over the entire surface of the resin molded product 2. Further, the time required for the surface modification treatment can be reduced.

摘要: A two-component type developer comprising an electroscopic fixable toner containing, as the coloring pigment, carbon black having a coloring power of 100 to 120 and a magnetic carrier is sued for developing electrostatic latent images formed on a photosensitive plate in correspondence to an imitation original and an original, and the image density of the toner image corresponding to the imitation original is detected and the toner concentration in the developer is controlled based on the detected image density. According to this development process, the toner concentration in the developer can be maintained within an optimum range based on the optical density of the toner image formed on the photosensitive plate in correspondence to the imitation original.

摘要: An electrophotographic method for the formation of two-colored images comprising: (1) uniformly charging the surface of a photoreceptor having a conductive substance and a photoconductive layer formed on the conductive substance, said photoconductive layer being sensitive to a first color, (2) exposing a two-colored original, to form on said photoconductive layer an electrostatic latent image, which corresponds to a second color region in the original, with the same polarity as the electric charges on the surface of said photoconductive layer, (3) subjecting the surface of said photoreceptor to a reversal development treatment by the use of a photoconductive color toner charged with the same polarity as the electric charges constituting said electrostatic latent image, to develop the non-charged region with the photoconductive color toner, (4) subjecting said electrostatic latent image to a normal development treatment by the use of an insulative toner having a color different from the color of said photoconductive color toner, and (5) charging the color toners on said photoconductive layer with a different polarity from the charging polarity in process (1) and simultaneously exposing said original through a filter shielding against said first color, thereby providing a practical method for the formation of a desired two colored distinct image corresponding to the original.

摘要: A prediction error calculation part calculates a prediction error for each input data. A prediction error encoding part generates a prediction error code by encoding the value of the prediction error. A run-length counting part counts the run-length of the prediction error. When the value of the prediction error changes, a run-length encoding part generates a run-length code by encoding the run-length counted. A code connecting part generates a connected code by connecting the run-length code to the prediction error code of a corresponding prediction error. When the value of the prediction error is a particular value, a prediction error checking part selects a connected code for the prediction error, as an output code. When the value of the prediction error is a different value, the prediction error checking part selects a prediction error code for the prediction error, as an output code. A code output part outputs the output code selected.
