摘要: A method, a network element, an apparatus and a system for controlling discontinuous reception/transmission during a discontinuous reception/transmission on-period in communication between a transmitter and a receiver, are provided. The control is based on certain well-defined measurements including at least one of the following: the number of bits that are currently in the buffer of the transmitter, the currently supported transport block set for the receiver and the average supported transport block set for the receiver. The measurements are performed at the transmitter in each predefined time interval.

摘要: A method for a mobile communications network where a cell is identifiable by a global identifier unique in the mobile communications network and/or a short identifier re-usable in another cell of the mobile communications network. A registry associates information representing a location within the coverage area of the mobile communications network to a defined group of short identifiers. When an access point sends a request for registration to provide services of a cell in a mobile communications network, the request includes information indicating a location of the access point. The registry is used to select a short identifier to be applied in a cell of an access point before registering the access point to provide services of a cell in the mobile communications network.

摘要: There is provided a method for configuring a communication channel between a base station and a user equipment within a cellular network system. The cellular network system includes at least one cooperation area. The base station is assigned to the at least one cooperation area, and the user equipment is served by the base station. The method includes applying, by the base station, a vertical sectorization and thereby creating the at least one cooperation area, determining, by the base station, the location of the user equipment in relation to the at least one cooperation area, and configuring, by the base station, the communication channel between the base station and the user equipment by using coordinated multipoint processing, if the determined location of the user equipment corresponds to a predetermined location.

摘要: A method of scheduling resources in a communications link wherein a scheduling requests are transmitted from a first entity to a second entity including determining if any of the following conditions exist: the time elapsed since the last scheduling request exceeds a designated time; the up-link requirement exceeds a predetermined level; or semi-persistent scheduling exists; and if so, suppressing the transmission and/or triggering of scheduling requests.

摘要: The invention relates to apparatuses, a method and computer programs. It defines a network control based on the transfer of traffic between operation layers (e.g. carriers), in response to the traffic status monitored on at least two operation layers, and subsequent network reconfiguration for diminishing energy consumption by switching off radio nodes, when the traffic status indicates that a traffic reduction fulfils a first predetermined condition (e.g. first threshold defining a lower limit for traffic density), and for increasing capacity, when the traffic status indicates that a traffic increase fulfils a second predetermined condition (e.g. second threshold defining an upper limit for traffic density and/or service capability).

摘要: There is proposed a mechanism for controlling a transmission of a connection quality information, like CQI, from a UE to a base transceiver station via an uplink connection. Resources of an uplink control channel for the trans-mission of the connection quality information are set for a plurality of UEs. A collision between transmissions of the connection quality information by at least two user equipments of the plurality of UEs on a same resource element is detected or predicted on the basis of input information, and a collision prevention processing is executed when such collision is detected or predicted.
