The present invention relates to a resin film laminated metal sheet for can, in which both faces of the metal sheet have resin film laminated layers, and a surface free energy γ s of a face of the resin film is 10 dyn/cm or more to less than 30 dyn/cm, the face becoming an inside of can after can-making and being contacted with stuffed food contents. As the resin film, applicable is a polypropylene film or a propylene ethylene based random copolymer film of polypropylene being a main component. Further, a resin film of polyester being a main component and containing a wax component of 0.1 to 2.0% is used in a resin film to be an inside of can after can-making. The resin film laminated metal sheet for can according to the invention has excellent formability and adhesion while can-making and superior taking-out property of stuffed food contents.

A method of manufacturing an easy open end includes the steps of using a laminated steel sheet with resin films formed on both surfaces of the laminated steel sheet, and forming a panel structure and a score. A score die used for forming the score includes a scoring edge having a cross section in which a tip is a curve and two sides with the tip interposed therebetween are tangent to the curve. The tip is the curve having a curvature radius ranging from 0.2 to 0.4 mm, and the two sides have elevation angles θ in a range of 0.3≦tan θ≦1.0 to an end surface. The panel structure is formed by a motion that is synchronous with a motion in which the score die is pressed to a surface of the laminated steel sheet during the formation of the score.

A scoring die is employed for forming a score on a laminated steel sheet to make an easy open can end. The scoring die has a scoring edge having a sectional shape of an inverted triangle. The scoring edge includes a tip formed of a curve having a radius of curvature of 0.2 mm or more and 0.4 mm or less. Two sides sandwiching the tip are tangent to the curve. A function tan θ of an angle of elevation θ of each of the sides with respect to a surface of the can end is 0.3 or more and 1.0 or less.
