The present invention comprises a field enhanced electrode package for use in a non-thermal plasma processor. The field enhanced electrode package includes a high voltage electrode and a field-enhancing electrode with a dielectric material layer disposed in-between the high voltage electrode and the field-enhancing electrode. The field-enhancing electrode features at least one raised section that includes at least one injection hole that allows plasma discharge streamers to occur primarily within an injected additive gas.

The gas-liquid separating condenser of the present invention can enhance the sub-cooling rate in the pre-sub-cooling section as well as in the total sections. Moreover, the present invention can have designs according to calculated conditional expressions of relative dimensional ratios of the sections in condensation of refrigerant to realize the optimum condensing efficiency regardless of the overall size of the gas-liquid separating condenser.

A handover performing method and apparatus are provided to allow a terminal to effectively perform handover when it moves from a cell of a base station supporting a legacy system to a cell of a base station supporting an advanced system. The method for performing handover by a terminal, includes: acquiring information regarding a target base station through scanning; transmitting a ranging request message including indication information indicating direct handover to the target base station to the target base station; receiving a ranging response message including a handover procedure optimization flag from the target base station; and performing a network entry procedure toward the target base station according to the handover procedure optimization flag, wherein, in the network entry procedure, a key agreement procedure with the target base station is performed by using first authentication information which has been used in a connection with a serving base station.

In a communication system of transmitting and receiving data using a multi-carrier including a primary carrier for transmitting and receiving control information and data and a secondary carrier using a radio frequency (RF) different from the primary carrier, a method of establishing a sleep mode operation through active primary and secondary carriers according to an embodiment of the present invention may include transmitting a sleep cycle ID (SCID), a listening window, and traffic indication inactive information indicating that an indication (TRF-IND) as to whether traffic is generated is not transferred to a terminal through the primary carrier, sending downlink data to the terminal through the active primary or secondary carrier during the listening window, and sending a listening window early termination indication indicating to early terminate the listening window of the primary or secondary carrier that has received the downlink data through the primary carrier to the terminal if the data sending is completed.

The method includes receiving at least one broadcast control message from a base station in a resource region where a broadcast control message is transmitted, extracting broadcast control message type information that represents the kind of a broadcast control message included in the header of the received broadcast control message, and checking the extracted broadcast control message type information and determining whether payload of the received broadcast message is decoded.

The present invention relates to a broadband wireless access system, and more specifically, to a structure of an efficient signaling header. A medium access control protocol data unit (MAC PDU) including a medium access control header (MAC header) is proposed; the MAC header including a flow identifier field, an extended header field, and a length field. When the MAC header is a signaling header, the flow identifier field is set to a specific value indicating that the MAC header is the signaling header, and the extended header field and the length field include signaling content information. But, when the MAC header is not the signaling header, the flow identifier field is set to value other than the specific value, the extended header field indicates whether or not an extended header is included in the MAC PDU, and the length field indicates the length of the MAC PDU.
