摘要: Flash ROMs store a control program for controlling an internal combustion engine and a boot program for rewriting the flash ROMs in respective storage areas. A user breakable object area is set appropriately to the flash ROMs by a user breakable function of a UBC which a microcomputer has in an ECU. Thus, even when a reading command or a writing command is issued to predetermined addresses in the user breakable object area of the flash ROMs, the processing jumps to a predetermined other address without changing the stored therein. Therefore, a request of writing to the boot program storage area of the flash ROMs, which arises from some abnormality, can be eliminated.

摘要: A method containing a step of reacting a conjugated diene polymer having an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal active end with a hydrocarbyloxysilane compound having one or more of each of the following functional groups I and II in its molecule to obtain a modified conjugated diene polymer containing a functional group II, and a step of mixing the modified conjugated diene polymer and a compound such as organic acid. A modified conjugated diene rubber which can be used as a raw material of a cross-linked rubber which can be used in tire treads and the like and can enhance low fuel consumption performance is provided. The functional group I is a hydrocarbyloxysilyl group. The functional group II is a nitrogen-containing group in which both of two hydrogen atoms of a primary amino group are substituted with protective groups.

摘要: An NMR probe permits measurements to be made with its inner coil without replacing the probe. The NMR probe has three coils disposed to surround a sample tube. An inner coil can resonate with the HF and LF. An intermediate coil can resonate with the HF and LF, and produces an RF magnetic field perpendicular to the RF field produced by the inner coil. An outermost coil can resonate at least at a lock frequency. The outermost coil produces an RF magnetic field which is perpendicular to the RF field produced by the intermediate coil but which is coincident in direction with the RF field produced by the inner coil.

摘要: There is disclosed an NMR detector permitting NMR measurements to be performed well by making use of the merit of a meander coil if a trace amount of solution sample is investigated. Furthermore, an NMR spectrometer equipped with this detector is offered. The NMR detector comprises a planar sample cell and a planar detection coil disposed close to the sample cell. The sample cell has parallel, elongated sample spaces in connection with each other. The detection coil consists of a continuous elongated conductor repeatedly bent into segments which are substantially parallel to the sample spaces. Each of the segments has a major axis in the longitudinal direction of each of the sample spaces.

摘要: A laminated material comprises a plurality of straight portions of vegetable stalks, each having an epidermis mainly of lignocellulose and a porous core. These vegetable stalks straight portions are impregnated with a thermal hardener solution of high-molecularizable liquid compound, resinified liquid, or mixtures thereof, arranged in parallel to form a layer of a sheet-like material, piling these sheet-like materials and pressing them to make these layers come to contact closely in flat condition. It is possible to make the directions of vegetable stalks in the sheet-like material different from the neighboring layers in order to strengthen a bending strength and other physical strength of the piled multi-layer laminated material, such as a pillar-like laminated material. Such pillar-like material is made by using a pair of pressing female mold and male mold, vegetable stalks being placed in the female mold and hot-pressed. After these vegetable stalks are laminated, the resin compound in the thermal hardener solution is set or harden.
