    Abstract: An image coding method and apparatus, and an image decoding method and apparatus are provided. In the coding method, a scanning manner parameter of a coding block is determined, and the scanning manner parameter may include at least one of: a region indication parameter used for determining a scanning region of the coding block and a scanning indication parameter used for determining a scanning order of pixels in a scanning region of the coding block; predicted values of part or all of pixels in the coding block are determined according to the scanning manner parameter; and the coding block is coded according to the predicted values, and a coding result is written into a bitstream.

    Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method and device for coding an image and a method and device for decoding an image. The coding includes that: a coding block is partitioned into L micro-blocks, wherein L is a preset number of micro-block partitions in the decoding block; Displacement Vectors (DVs) between the micro-blocks and reference micro-blocks in a preset reconstructed pixel sample set are determined, wherein the DVs are vectors between pixel positions of the reference micro-blocks and pixel positions of the micro-blocks in a preset pixel coordinate system; and the DVs are coded and written into a bitstream. By the methods and the devices, the problem of low image compression and decompression efficiency during image coding and decoding in the related technology is solved, and the effect of improving image coding and decoding efficiency is further achieved.

    Abstract: Devices, systems and methods for deriving intra prediction samples when the intra prediction mode for a coding block is the planar mode are described. In an aspect, a method for video coding includes selecting a first set of reference samples that are reconstructed neighboring samples of a current block, and determining a prediction value for a prediction sample of the current block by interpolating at least one of the first set and a second set of reference samples, where a reference sample of the second set of reference samples is based on a weighted sum of a first sample and a second sample from the first set of reference samples, and where the reference sample is aligned horizontally with the first sample, aligned vertically with the second sample, and positioned on an opposite side of the prediction sample with respect to either the first or the second sample.

The method for encoding a picture includes: determining a prediction value of an encoded block, and calculating a prediction residual between the encoded block and the prediction value; performing a transformation on the prediction residual at least once to obtain transform data, and determining transform coefficients using the transform data; determining a scanning mode of the transform coefficients and a size of the coefficient group of the transform coefficients, dividing the transform coefficients into at least one coefficient group, scanning transform coefficients comprised in each of the at least one coefficient group according to the scanning mode, and converting the transform coefficients into at least one syntax element; and encoding the size of the coefficient group and a value of the at least one syntax element, and writing encoded bits to a code stream.

    Abstract: An image coding method and apparatus and an image decoding method and apparatus are provided by the present document. The image coding method includes: implementing matching coding for pixels of an input video image to obtain one or more matching relationship parameters, herein the matching relationship parameters are parameters used in a process of constructing predicted values and/or reconstructed values of the pixels in the image; mapping the matching relationship parameters to obtain mapped values of the matching relationship parameters; and performing entropy coding on the mapped values of the matching relationship parameters. The present document addresses the problem existing in the conventional art which is caused by the direct implementation of entropy coding for matching relationship parameters and achieves a good data compression effect through entropy coding.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an image coding method, including: determining a coding mode of a coding block; and performing coding on the coding block using multiple coding modes, including performing coding on pixel sample segments in the coding block using one of the multiple coding modes. Further disclosed is an image decoding method, including: parsing bitstream data of a decoding block, and determining decoding modes of pixel sample segments of the decoding block; and performing hybrid decoding on the decoding block using multiple decoding modes, including performing decoding on the pixel sample segments of the decoding block using corresponding decoding modes. The technical scheme described above can fully exploit and utilize the characteristics of each coding image region in the image to improve the image compression performance.
