Abstract:
A lockable door assembly of an electronic device is used to cover and seal an opening of a housing of the electronic device. The lockable door assembly includes a door, a first sliding member, and a second sliding member. The door is pivoted to the housing to cover the opening. The first sliding member is movably disposed on the door for being engaged with a rib formed on the housing, so as to stop the door from rotating. The second sliding member is movably disposed on the door, and the sliding paths of the second sliding member and the first sliding member are intersected. The second sliding member is used for being inserted into a nick of the first sliding member to prevent the first sliding member from moving, thereby a double secure mechanism is achieved and the thickness of the lockable door is reduced.
Abstract:
A plug-and-expand battery module includes at least one battery cell therein, which is provided with a plug member adapted to insert into a power input of a portable electronic apparatus, and a socket member adapted to receive the plug member of another battery module. The battery module is internally provided with a battery connecting circuit for connecting the battery cells to one another, and to the plug and socket members. Thus, when the plug member of the battery module is inserted into the power input of the portable electronic apparatus, power is supplied from all the battery modules connected via the plug and the socket members thereof. The battery module is also internally provided with a battery protection to prevent discharge of a battery module having a higher voltage to another battery module having a lower voltage when several battery modules are parallelly connected to supply power.
Abstract:
A process for a monitor working in a DPMS mode applies when a monitor ends a working mode and enters the DPMS mode. In the DPMS mode, when the signal processor of the monitor detects there is no signal input to the connecting interface, the signal processor will be off and inform the micro-controller to open the signal detecting function to find whether there is a signal input to the connecting interface. When the micro-controller detects there is no signal input for a certain of time, the micro-controller will enter the sleep status. As a result, the purpose of saving the electricity can be achieved.
Abstract:
A multi-layer circuit board includes first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh insulating substrates; first, second, third, fourth and fifth signal wiring layers; first and second ground wiring layers; and a power wiring layer. Each of the first and seventh insulating substrates has a thickness ranging from 2.5 to 6.5 mil. Each of the second, fourth and sixth insulating substrates has a thickness ranging from 3 to 9 mil. Each of the third and fifth insulating substrates has a thickness ranging from 3 to 23 mil. The first signal wiring layer has a first resistance with respect to the first ground wiring layer. The second signal wiring layer has a second resistance with respect to the first ground wiring layer and the power wiring layer. The third signal wiring layer has a third resistance with respect to the first ground wiring layer and the power wiring layer. The fourth signal wiring layer has a fourth resistance with respect to the second ground wiring layer and the power wiring layer. The fifth signal wiring layer has a fifth resistance with respect to the second ground wiring layer. The first, second, third, fourth and fifth resistances are within the range of 49.5 to 60.5 ohms.
Abstract:
An integrated computer and music keyboard module includes a key assembled base, on a first side of which a plurality of music keys are parallelly arranged. The key assembled base is provided on at least one lateral end with a connecting member for turnably connecting at least one extended module thereto. The extended module includes an extended key assembled base, on a first side of which a plurality of music keys are arranged, and on a second side of which a plurality of computer keys are arranged. When the extended module is turned about the connecting member to an extended position, a music keyboard is shown; and when the extended module is turned to a folded position, the computer keys are exposed to serve as a computer keyboard.
Abstract:
A selectable booting operation method by Basic Input Output System (BIOS) with multi-partitioned disk is provided in the present invention. The INT 19H interrupt service program in the original BIOS are slightly modified, so that when power is on the multi-partition boot selection flag being setup serves to select from the operating systems stored in different partitions of the disk, and booting time of the system is reduced accordingly. Therefore, with the present invention, users are free to choose one of the different operating systems on a single computer platform under different booting conditions upon preference without additional installation of the Boot Management Utility (BMU). Accordingly, the present invention eliminates the synchronization process that is originally performed on BMU if the operating system is being reinstalled or repeatedly installed, so as to avoid inconvenience and annoyance thereby.
Abstract:
A window switching method. A window list is automatically adjusted according a lower limit to the sizes of program symbols on the window list, thus preventing the symbols on the window list from unlimited shrinkage due to an increased number of runtime program windows.
Abstract:
A heat dissipation module includes an airflow generation device that generates airflow into an air channel in which a fin module is received and fixed. The fin module includes a plurality of fin plates substantially parallel to and spaced from each other to define air passages extending from an inlet to an outlet of the air channel. Each fin plate has a trailing section extending to the outlet and forming at least one inclined guide tab and an opening defined in the fin plate immediately close to the guide tab for switching at least a portion of the air between adjacent air passages on opposite sides of the fin plate. This increases the length of the path that the air flows through the air channel and thus raises the amount of heat exchanged between the fin plates and the air thereby enhancing efficiency of heat removal.
Abstract:
A data synchronization system and method for PDAs. The system includes a network space and a PDA. The network space is connected to the Internet, and stores service data. The PDA has a mobile communication unit. The PDA directs the mobile communication unit to connect to the network space via a wireless telecommunication network, and performs a specific process on the service data.
