Abstract:
This foam-generating device is easily transportable, free from fluid or power supply constraints, and able to supply a foam such as viscous foam with a high (low liquid fraction), time-invariant (low liquid fraction). The gas is withdrawn compressed from a cylinder, and a fixed fraction of its flow is used to drive a pneumatic pump which draws in the foaming liquid. The foam is formed in a mixer containing free-moving solids shortly before the ejection end of the device. The mixer has highly mobile balls in a cage of much larger dimensions; it is suitable for producing foam with a high overrun. Application: decontamination and depollution of large surfaces, buildings or indoor or outdoor structures.

A dispensing shower head assembly for selectively dispensing fluids through the shower head includes a housing that is configured to couple to a shower enclosure. A pipe, which is fluidically coupled to a water line, is coupled to and extends from the housing. A spray head is fluidically coupled to the pipe distal from the housing. The spray head has a lower face that is perforated. A plurality of reservoirs and a dispensing module are coupled to and positioned in the housing. The dispensing module is fluidically coupled to the spray head and selectively fluidically couplable to the reservoirs. Each reservoir is configured to fill with a respective fluid, such as a facewash, a conditioner, a body wash, and a shampoo. The dispensing module is positioned to motivate the respective fluid from an associated reservoir to the spray head to apply the respective fluid to a user.

The device generally comprises a hollow tube for holding drywall joint compound, a spray nozzle with a removably attached air hose, a piston, and a ramrod. The device allows users to easily apply drywall joint compound to a surface to create various surface textures.

An atomizing assembly includes a tubing section having an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end of the tubing section is connectable to a liquid storage portion, and the outlet end of the tubing section is in fluid communication with an atomizing nozzle. The tubing section is configured to deliver a flow of liquid aerosol-forming substrate through the atomizing nozzle. The atomizing nozzle includes an air channel configured to establish an air flow through the nozzle. The air flow is mixed with the flow of liquid aerosol-forming substrate.

A spray device, such as one used with a pressure washer, includes a housing, a chemical container coupled to the housing, and a chemical conduit coupled to the container. The chemical conduit has an inlet and an outlet forming a chemical flow path therebetween. The spray device further includes a chemical flow controller allowing a user to adjust a chemical flow rate through the chemical conduit. Further, the spray device includes a water conduit forming a water flow path through the housing, the water conduit terminating at a spray orifice. The chemical flow path and the water flow path merge at a point proximate the orifice.
Abstract:
A process for spraying water containing ozone and other substances is disclosed. A spray nozzle is configured having an orifice, with a plenum or chamber around the orifice. An open end of a tube terminates immediately adjacent the orifice, and is connected to at least a supply of ozone from an ozone generator so that ozone is inserted into a stream or spray of water from the orifice. A halogen generator may also be provided for generating a halogen sanitizer that may be in the spray of water or combined with ozone. Other substances that may be used are the fluid from the halogen generator, soaps and sanitizing metals.

A self-contained, hand-held spray dispensing device includes an internal source of pressurized fluid that exerts a motive force on a pair of liquid ejecting elements to cause each to eject a liquid into a discharge line. The liquids remain separated until each exits its discharge port. A pressurized fluid is directed over the outlet ends of the discharge line beginning before a flow interrupter in the discharge line is opened to permit flow therethrough and ceasing after liquid flow is terminated. The pressurized fluid flow over the outlet of the discharge line aerosolizes liquids emanating from the outlet ends. The liquid ejecting element is connected to a force transmitting yoke. The yoke responds to pressurized fluid from the source to generate the motive force on the ejecting element.

A sprayer system has a tank for containing water, a cartridge for containing a dispersible substance, and a sprayer for being in fluid communication with the tank and the cartridge. The sprayer includes a housing with a receptacle for removably receiving the cartridge. A pump is mounted to the housing and in fluid communication with a first passageway carried by the housing. The pump draws the water from the tank into the first passageway while the sprayer is in fluid communication with the tank. A second passageway is carried by the housing and in fluid communication with both the receptacle and the first passageway for supplying the dispersible substance from the cartridge to the first passageway and, thereby, forming the dispersion in response to operation of the pump while the receptacle is in receipt of the cartridge and the sprayer is in fluid communication with the tank.
