摘要: A vehicle control device includes: a processor; and a steering-by-wire-type electric steering device, which is provided at a vehicle, and which is configured to switch between a first state in which a wheel is steered when a steering wheel is subjected to a rotation operation, and a second state in which the wheel is not steered when the steering wheel is subjected to a rotation operation, in which the processor is configured to execute lane change assistance control, which controls the electric steering device so as to move the vehicle to a target lane selected by a rotation operation of the steering wheel, the target lane being a different lane from a travel lane in which the vehicle is traveling, when the electric steering device of the vehicle is in the second state and the steering wheel has been subjected to a rotation operation.

摘要: A method performed by a vehicle feature evaluation system for enabling evaluation of a simulated vehicle-related feature. The vehicle feature evaluation system determines in relation to a road-driven vehicle, with support from a tracking system, an orientation of a head-mounted display, HMD, adapted to be worn by an occupant on-board the road-driven vehicle or position and gaze direction of the occupant. The vehicle feature evaluation system further determines a simulated vehicle design feature to be evaluated in the road-driven vehicle. Moreover, the vehicle feature evaluation system provides in real-time to a HMD display of the HMD or another display, taking into consideration the HMD orientation or position and gaze direction, a virtual representation of the simulated vehicle design feature superimposed on a real-time surrounding-showing image derived from real-world perception sensor data captured with support from one or more vehicle-attached perception sensors adapted to capture surroundings internal or external to the road-driven vehicle.

摘要: The information display apparatus has a housing with an opening and a transparent cover formed on the opening, the housing includes image-light generating means configured to generate image light that displays the image information and an optical system configured to allow a driver of the vehicle to recognize image information based on the image light from the image-light generating means as a virtual image in front of the windshield. When S-polarized light on the windshield is assumed to be a first polarized wave while polarized light that orthogonally crosses the S-polarized light in a polarizing direction is assumed to be a second polarized wave, the image-light generating means is configured to generate the image light made of the first polarized wave, and a transmittance/reflectance control means blocks a part of the first polarized wave and the second polarized wave of incident external light entering the housing from the opening.

摘要: An upper display region and a lower display region are provided on a display surface of a single display device used for a combination meter device or the like for a vehicle, and by reflecting a light image of a real image displayed in the lower display region by a reflecting member and projecting the light image in a state of overlapping the upper display region, a virtual image and a portion of the real image are simultaneously displayed to be overlapped on the same region. By arranging the lower display region in a place that becomes a blind spot of a structure such as a steering wheel, it is possible to effectively utilize a space of the blind spot for performing display. By allowing an inclination angle of the reflecting member to be adjusted, position alignment between a region of the real image and a region of the virtual image is implemented even when a viewpoint EP position is changed.

摘要: A method for pairing a key fob with a control unit is provided. The key fob executes an ID authenticated key agreement protocol with a pairing device based on a key fob identification to authenticate one another and to generate a first encryption key. The pairing device encrypts a control unit identification using the first encryption key. The key fob receives the encrypted control unit identification transmitted from the pairing device. The key fob then executes an ID authenticated key agreement protocol with the control unit based on the control unit identification to authenticate one another and to generate a second encryption key. The key fob then receives an operational key transmitted from the control unit that is encrypted with the second encryption key.

摘要: A main controller of an HUD is configured to: acquire road surface information of a front road surface based on a plurality of measurement points on the front road surface, which is detected by a road surface detection sensor mounted on a vehicle with the HUD and is positioned forward of a traveling direction of the vehicle; calculate, by using the road surface information, a virtual image plane position on a virtual image plane where a virtual image of a display object is displayed, which is a display position of the virtual image for displaying the virtual image along the front road surface; and calculate a display position of a display surface within an image display device, which corresponds to the virtual image plane position, so as to output, to the image display device, a control signal for displaying the display object on the display position of the display surface.
