Abstract: An electronic device, in disclosed embodiments, includes an antenna, transceiver circuitry coupled to the antenna, a memory configured to store a first operation key and instructions, and a processor coupled to the transceiver and to the memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions stored in the memory to cause the electronic device to, in response to receiving a first transmission containing an encrypted version of a second operation key that is encrypted by the first operation key, decrypt the encrypted version of the second operation key using the first operation key to recover the second operation key, store the second operation key in the memory, transmitting, by a transmitter of the electronic device, a second transmission that contains the first operation key and a command.

Abstract: A light emitting module includes: a first light emitting device including: a first package, a plurality of first semiconductor laser elements mounted in the first package, and a first lens member having lens portions, a number of the lens portion is the same as a number of the first semiconductor laser elements; and a second light emitting device including: a second package, a plurality of second semiconductor laser elements mounted in the second package, wherein a quantity of the second semiconductor laser elements is fewer than a quantity of the first semiconductor laser elements, and a second lens member which is structured the same as the first lens member; and one or more mounting substrates in which the first light emitting device and the second light emitting device are mounted.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods of manufacturing optical engines and laser projectors that are well-suited for use in wearable heads-up displays (WHUDs) are described. Generally, the optical engines of the present disclosure integrate a plurality of laser diodes (e.g., 3 laser diodes, 4 laser diodes) within a single, hermetically or partially hermetically sealed, encapsulated package. Photonic integrated circuits having grating couplers thereon may be used to wavelength multiplex beams of light emitted by the plurality of laser diodes into a coaxially superimposed aggregate beam. Such optical engines may have various advantages over existing designs including, for example, smaller volumes, better manufacturability, faster modulation speed, etc. WHUDs that employ such optical engines and laser projectors are also described.
