Abstract:
An improved cash box system for a bill validator (11) which includes bill inlet (16) a sensor (OS) associated with the opening, a bill transporting assembly (21) and a bill stacking assembly (30). A cash box (10) associated with the bill validator (11) receives bills (B) from the bill stacking assembly (30) when the stacker motor (M2) is activated. A processing system (100) measures the current draw of the stacker motor (M2) and compares it to a predetermined limit of the current draw to determine whether the cash box (10) is full, when a bill is placed in the bill inlet.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a first frame member and a second frame member which are aligned in a direction of a rotation axis of an image bearing member and faces each other across an image forming unit and a stacking unit. The first frame member includes a first portion including a first side surface facing the image forming unit and a second portion, which is fixed to the first portion, including a second side surface facing the stacking unit. The second frame member includes a third side surface facing the image forming unit and the stacking unit, and at least a part of the second side surface is provided in a position different from a position of the first side surface in the direction of the rotation axis of the image bearing member.
Abstract:
A slider moving in a sliding direction between first and second positions shifts a second path-defining member, relative to a first path-defining member, between first and second states. A pair of movable members each disposed on a corresponding side of a slider in a width direction is movable individually in the sliding direction to shift between third and fourth states. The movable members, when both in the third state, position the slider to the first position and, when both in the fourth state, position the slider to the second position. Each movable member supports a corresponding widthwise end of the slider immovably in the sliding direction and movably in the width direction. A support frame supporting the second path-defining member supports a widthwise central portion of the slider movably in the sliding direction and rotatably on a plane parallel to the sliding direction and the width direction.

Abstract:
A transporting apparatus includes a base unit made of resin, a tray configured to support a sheet, a transporting section supported by an upper portion of the base unit and configured to transport the sheet, and a feeding section supported by a lower portion of the base unit and including a feeding roller configured to contact an upper surface of the sheet supported by the tray and to feed the sheet toward the transporting section. The base unit is integrally formed with an inner-side guide which defines an inner side of a curved path which is configured to guide the sheet fed by the feeding section to the transport section.

Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a main body and a processing apparatus. The processing apparatus includes a first processing unit and a second processing unit. The main body has a manual-feed tray at one lateral face. The first processing unit and the second processing unit are stacked in the vertical direction on the same lateral face side of the main body as the manual-feed tray provided. The second processing unit is slidable in a toward-away direction between a connecting position and a separate position, and has a hollow to insert the manual-feed tray therein at the connecting position.
Abstract:
An image forming system includes an image forming apparatus, a sheet feeding apparatus, and a connection device. The connection device is interposed between the image forming apparatus and the sheet feeding apparatus, and connects the sheet feeding apparatus to the image forming apparatus so as to be detachable therefrom. The connection device includes a first exterior portion attached to the image forming apparatus, and configured to surround an access portion by a portion thereof being open, and a second exterior portion attached to the sheet feeding apparatus, fitted to an opening portion of the first exterior portion in a state where the sheet feeding apparatus is mounted on the image forming apparatus via the connection device, and configured to surround the access portion together with the first exterior portion.
Abstract:
A scanner device including: a scanning path on which a scanning member for scanning an image from a document is disposed; a supply path on which a document is supplied to the scanning path; a discharge path on which a document is discharged after scanning of the document on the scanning path has been completed; and a re-supply path that extended to the supply path from a intersection where the scanning path and the discharge path cross so that a document fed along the discharge path in a direction opposite to a document-feeding direction is re-supplied to the supply path after scanning of one side of the document has been completed, wherein one-side guide portions of the supply path, the discharge path, and the re-supply path are integrally formed.
Abstract:
A sheet delivering device includes a first frame stood on a base and a housing having a height position adjusted to the base. A second frame is attached to the housing in a body and located adjacent to the first frame. The height adjustment member is attached to one frame and includes engaged stop parts with different heights. The lever member is turnably attached to another frame and includes a contact stop member stopped into contact with the engaged stop part. Between an interference posture forming a contact stopping state by an interference of the contact stop member and engaged stop part and a withdrawal posture withdrawing from the interference when the housing moves to the base in the upward and downward directions, the lever member usually is advanced to the interference posture by a movement force, but changed to the withdrawal posture by turning against the movement force.
