    摘要: A document conveying device includes a sheet feeding tray, a discharge tray, a conveying mechanism and a document pressing member. On the sheet feeding tray, a document is placed. The document pressing member is provided on a lower surface of the sheet feeding tray, is capable of protruding and contracting in directions close to and away from the discharge tray, and presses the document discharged on the discharge tray.

    摘要: The device (10) for stacking sheets (40) arranged to form stacks (4) downstream of a sheet cutting line and comprises an unroller, a printer and a cutter (6). The device has a stacking table (20) located in the same plane as an evacuation conveyor (5) and the device includes an unloading conveyor (7) with first and second ends (70, 71). The unloading conveyor (7) is arranged to transfer the cut sheets (40), one by one, from the cutter outfeed conveyor (3) towards the stacking table (20) and is coupled with driving mechanism arranged to move the second end (71) between a low position in which the second end (71) is located at the level of the stacking table (20), and a high position in which the second end (71) is located at a height corresponding to that of the complete stack (4).

    摘要: A system and method are provided improving stack integrity for a set of image receiving media substrates at an output of a compiler in an image forming device by supplementing a compiler shelf with a pair of augers having a unique planar lead-in for a top surface of the augers. The vertical compiler components reduce a “stepped” configuration of conventional compiler systems to keep a bottom sheet substantially “flat” thereby reducing a tendency for the bottom sheet to disadvantageously shift during in-set alignment processing. The large flat surface at the top of the augers effectively extends the plane of the lead edge shelf. A larger contact area with the sheets/sets of image receiving media substrates, along with the flatter shape of the sets, results in a more stable stack with a lesser tendency of individual sheets to migrate away from a registration edge.
