摘要: A textile sleeve for routing and protecting an elongate member has a wall including a textile layer with an inner surface and an opposite outer surface extending lengthwise along a central longitudinal axis between opposite ends. The inner surface is configured to bound a cavity sized for receipt of the elongate member therein. The textile layer is formed of yarns interlaced with one another, wherein a least some of the yarns include multifilaments resistant to heat and/or monofilaments resistant to heat, rendering the sleeve heat-resistant. A silicone-based coating is adhered to the outer surface to provide enhanced heat-resistance, dielectric protection and impact resistance.

The intermediate layer includes a textile intermediate layer facing the textile inner layer and a silicone-based layer facing the textile outer layer.

摘要: Provided is a method of manufacturing fiber with aligned porous structure, an apparatus, and applications of the fiber. The apparatus comprises: a fiber extrusion unit, a freezing unit, and a collection unit for collecting the frozen fibers, wherein fibers extruded from the fiber extrusion unit pass through the freezing unit. Continuous and large scale preparation of such fiber with aligned porous structure is achieved by combining directional freezing and solution spinning.

摘要: Protective garments are disclosed having fabric treated with a water resistant treatment. The water resistant treatment includes a combination of a water resistant concentrate and a solvent. In accordance with the present disclosure, the water resistant treatment is substantially free of fluorocarbon chemicals and yet provides not only excellent water resistance, but also excellent breathability and comfort. The water resistant treatment may be particularly applicable for use in reapplications.

摘要: A flame retardant fabric is directly woven from flame retardant viscose fiber added with inorganic silicon for covering the outside of flammable articles, wherein the flame retardant viscose fiber having denier, strength and flame retardant effect which use silicic acid as the flame retardant, and coating a layer of organic material, melamine flame retardant resin on the surface of silicic acid, and then preparing the flame retardant viscose fiber into an nano-sized particles. The flame retardant fabric has a fineness of 1.11 to 2.78 dtex, and a strength of ≥2.0 cN/dtex, which meets the production requirements of spinning, and does not need to be blended with other high-strength fibers when spinning, and the woven fabric from the flame retardant viscose fiber does not need to be flame retardant, so that the flame retardant fabric has a good flame retardant effect and saves costs through simply the production process.

摘要: The present invention relates to a flame-retardant fabric that includes modacrylic fibers, one or more of regenerated cellulose fibers selected from the group consisting of flame-retardant rayon fibers and lyocell fibers, and polyimide fibers. The flame-retardant fabric includes the modacrylic fibers in an amount of 26 to 79 wt%, the regenerated cellulose fibers in an amount of 18 to 48 wt%, and the polyimide fibers in an amount of 3 to 26 wt%. The polyimide fibers have a fiber length of 45 to 127 mm. The char length measured by a flammability test based on GB/T 5455-1997 is 50 mm or less. The present invention also relates to protective clothing made of the flame-retardant fabric. Thus, the present invention provides a flame-retardant fabric whose char length is short in a flammability test and that has favorable flame retardancy, and protective clothing made of the flame-retardant fabric.

摘要: The present invention discloses a highly effective flame-retardant lightweight and soft multi-fiber blended fabric and a preparation method thereof. The fabric comprises 82 to 87 wt % of base fabric, 5 to 8 wt % of flame retardant and 8 to 10 wt % of antistatic agent. The base fabric comprises 45 to 48 wt % of polyacrylonitrile fibers, 40 to 42 wt % of cellulose fibers, 6 to 9 wt % of polyacrylate fibers and 6 to 8 wt % of polyamide fibers in parts by mass. The material has the characteristics of highly effective flame retardance, lightweightness and softness, with the gram weight being 215 g/m. A test shows that the material can come up to the NFPA2112 standard, and the arc-proof ATPV is greater than 8 cal/cm2.

摘要: Embodiments of a leno weave mesh of the present invention generally include a plurality of high-temperature weft yarns, high-temperature warp yarns, and low melting point warp yarns; wherein each low melting point warp yarn is intertwined with a high-temperature warp yarn, each intertwined pair of warp yarns is positioned such that the low melting point warp yarn and high-temperature warp yarn are disposed alternatingly on either side of the woven mesh at intersections of the weft and warp yarns, and the woven mesh is heated whereby the surfaces of the low melting point warp yarns adhere to the surface of the high-temperature warp yarns and said high-temperature weft yarns at contact points there between. An intumescent coating system employing embodiments of the mesh, and a method of providing thermal protection to a substrate utilizing the intumescent coating system, are also provided.
