    摘要: A home appliance includes a main body having a storage compartment, a first door hingedly coupled to the main body that opens and closes the storage compartment, and a second door that rotates relative to the first door. The second door includes a latch receptor. The first door includes a locking device with a magnetic component and a latch member. In a state in which the first door closes the storage compartment of the main body, separating the magnetic component from the main body by a first distance, the locking device disengages the latch member from the latch receptor of the second door. In a state in which the first door opens the storage compartment of the main body, separating the magnetic component from the main body by greater than the first distance, the locking device engages the latch member into the latch receptor of the second door.

    摘要: A locking mechanism includes a hooking component, an engagement structure, and an actuation component. The hooking component is disposed in a casing of a portable electronic apparatus. The engagement structure and the actuation component are disposed in another casing of the portable electronic apparatus. The actuation component is slidable relatively to the casing and includes a magnetic portion. When the magnetic portion approaches a hooking part of the hooking component, the hooking part is rotated out of the casing by a magnetic effect to hook the engagement structure; when the actuation component slides such that the magnetic portion is moved away from the hooking part, because a force generated by the magnetic effect to the hooking part decreases, a resilient part of the hooking component can drive the hooking part to disengaged from the engagement structure to rotate into the casing.

For example, the latching mechanism comprises a pin without a spring or other biasing mechanism biasing the spring in a direction opposite of a magnet in the keeper assembly. In one example, the pin comprises a magnet on an end of the pin opposite from the keeper assembly, which is attracted toward a ferromagnetic material when the pin is retracted into the housing.

    摘要: A magnetic gate latch device to secure a gate in a locked position to a fence or other barrier to close or block a portal formed therein comprising a latch assembly including a lower latch pin coupled to an upper latch pin actuator by an intermediate interconnecting element mounted to the fence or other barrier adjacent the portal wherein the lower latch pin is normally biased in upper or unlocked position and a keeper assembly including a keeper base affixed to the gate and a keeper arm extending outwardly therefrom having a latch pin recess formed therein with a latch pin positioner comprising a vertically disposed magnet disposed adjacent the latch pin recess such that when the gate is closed the vertically disposed magnet of the latch pin positioner moves the lower latch pin, intermediate interconnecting element and upper latch pin from the normally biased upper or unlocked position to a lower or locked position drawing the latch pin into the latch pin recess against the force of the bias and when as the upper latch pin actuator is moved upwardly the intermediate interconnecting element and the lower latch pin are moved upwardly withdrawing the lower latch pin from the latch pin recess to permit the gate to be opened as the bias maintains the lower latch pin in upper or unlocked position.
