The dispenser also includes a handle and a pivotable trigger. Further, the fire extinguisher includes a gauge mounted within the recessed bottom portion of the container. The gauge is configured to display at least one characteristic of the chamber of the container. Also, the gauge is mounted above the edge of the recessed bottom portion.

A processor is coupled to the measurement circuitry and is configured to compute a process variable based on the indication and determine, among a plurality of ranges, which range the process variable is within. The processor generates a local visual output based on the process variable and the determined range. A method of visually indicating a process variable is also provided.

The ball mount can comprise a ball portion for interfacing with a ball configured to couple with a tongue of a trailer, a hitch portion for interfacing with a hitch receiver associated with a vehicle, and a load measurement device associated with the hitch portion. The hitch portion can be configured to pivot relative to the hitch receiver about a fulcrum in response to a downward force on the ball, with the hitch receiver resisting rotation of the hitch portion about the fulcrum thereby inducing a load on the hitch portion. The load measurement device can be configured to determine a magnitude of the downward force on the ball based on the load on the hitch portion.

The slider can be moved along a first bore and a second bore of the tube. The motion of the slider in the tube is similar to the motion of a piston body in a cylinder. The tube is provided with a tapered annular surface, between the first bore and the second bore, and defines an elongated opening. In addition, when the pressure of the compressed air exceeds a predetermined pressure, excessive air can be released into the ambient environment, without using a mechanical safety valve, so that an object can be prevented from over-inflation.

    摘要: A fluid characteristic indicator for measuring and indicating a characteristic of a body fluid from a medical or veterinary patient has a generally tubular housing with a suction port at a proximal end and a fluid inlet port at the distal end. An fluid characteristic indicating element is disposed in the housing. A diffuser is provided in the housing to support the indicating element and direct fluid from the inlet port toward the indicating element. The diffuser has at least one fluid channel to direct fluid toward the indicating element. The fluid channel may take the form of a spiral or helix. Alternatively, the diffuser may have a plurality of longitudinal fluid channels. the housing and the diffuser may have additional structures forming channels that cooperatively direct fluid toward the indicating element. The diffuser and may occupy nearly all the interior volume of the housing. Control of the fluid flow makes exposure and saturation of the indicator more accurate, avoids spurious indications due to the color of the fluid itself reduces the amount of fluid sample needed to obtain an indication or measurement.

A pressure-responsive member is disposed in the first region and is movable between an expanded state and a compressed state. An indicator disk is viewable through the pressure-responsive member when the pressure-responsive member is in the compressed state and is obscured from view through the pressure-responsive member when the pressure-responsive member is in the expanded state. A diaphragm is movable from a relaxed state to a deflected state in response to pressure within the second region exceeding a threshold pressure and prevents fluid communication between the first region and the second region. The diaphragm additionally causes the pressure-responsive member to move from the expanded state to the compressed state when the pressure exceeds the threshold pressure.
